I agree. Why would he pass of the chance for a fight. His personality is similar to Goku's as he looks for fights.

Plus Boo destroys planets and moons easier than Freeza(Whom Birsu was going to kill). Which makes him more of an interesting foe. Let's not forget Boo's regeneration. Unless Birsu can be the first person ever to kill Boo by not blowing him to pieces

Uh I think you need to grammar check that.

I think you mean Boo is a more challenging foe than Freeza (who Birus was going to kill anyways).

This is why it's easier just to assume that Beers was asleep way back when Boo was first made. And we know for a fact he's been asleep since before Planet Vegeta was destroyed and didn't wake up again until the events of this movie, so...yeah. He just kinda missed his chance to fight Boo both times.

And then when he did fight Boo, Mr. Boo at least, it was over food.

Can you even say fight? Slaughter would be more accurate.

He'd have to tie his head tentacle around his waist.

He's probably referring to the Bardock special. Zarbon was the one who first recommended destroying Planet Vegeta because the saiyans were rapidly growing in strength.
It was actually Beerus disguised as Zarbon #StayWoke
Herms wrote:The fact that the ridiculous power inflation is presented so earnestly makes me just roll my eyes and snicker. Like with Freeza, where he starts off over 10 times stronger than all his henchmen except Ginyu (because...well, just because), then we find out he can transform and get even more powerful, and then he reveals he can transform two more times, before finally coming out with the fact that he hasn't even been using anywhere near 50% of his power. Oh, and he can survive in the vacuum of space. All this stuff is just presented as the way Freeza is, without even an attempt at rationalizing it, yet the tone dictates we're supposed to take all this silly grasping at straws as thrilling danger. So I guess I don't really take the power inflation in the Boo arc seriously, but I don't take the power inflation in earlier arcs seriously either, so there's no net loss of seriousness. I think a silly story presented as serious is harder to accept than a silly story presented as silly.

Okay, I've seen BOG (in Japanese, which I don't understand), so I'll write down the inconsistencies that I did notice. It's possible that the characters explain them (again, I don't understand what they're saying), but here you go.
  1. Kaio's planet is back.
  2. When Kaio contacts Vegeta telepatically, Vegeta recognizes him.
  3. [Bardock TV Special] Vegeta has a widow's peak as a child.
  4. The Pilaf gang look like kids.
  5. [Opinion] Vegeta humiliates himself to save the Earth and his loved ones.
  6. Gohan has an aura in "Ultimate" form.
  7. Vegeta gains power from anger.
  8. [Opinion] Gohan goes SS.
  9. [Opinion] Goku is able to fight Beerus back even after reverting to base/SS.
  10. Goku goes SSG again by remembering his friends.
BTW, Whis OHKOs Beerus, so his superiority is confirmed.

Didn't they talk telepathically during the fight with Pure Boo? When Vegeta was telling telepathically to the Earthlings to share their genki?

hleV wrote:The Pilaf gang look like kids.
It is explained that they gathered the Dragon Balls and wished to get younger... only to get too younger. They didn't wish for world domination because they were too old & there was no point for that, unless if they were younger.

And?
hleV wrote:[Opinion] Goku is able to fight Beerus back even after reverting to base/SS.

It is explained by Beers that Goku managed to absorb the power of SSG, and didn't get significantly weaker because of that after he reverted to base & went SS. As for how he managed to transform again, not even Goku knew how he did it, so we will probably have to wait for the next anime (series? movie? OVA? we know we will get something new in anime form from the Chozenshuu) to explain it to us. It's a mystery for now, but not an error.

hleV's statement is perfectly clear and simple (and true). Please stop posting one-word replies especially if you have nothing interesting to contribute to the discussion.

No, it's not clear. Why shouldn't Ultimate Gohan have an aura?

This is totally irrelevant to the topic. That's like asing why Tenshinhan should wear a wig.

Ultimate Gohan in the manga and anime doesn't have an aura. Whether he "should" or "shouldn't" have one doesn't matter. The fact is he didn't have one. In BoG he has one so there is an inconsistency.

Ultimate Gohan is base Gohan, and base Gohan has shown having an aura in the manga. Even characters like Kuririn, base Vegeta, Nail, Piccolo, and Freeza have shown having an aura, which means that everyone has a power-up aura. So, I fail to see how it is an inconsistency.
