"I like the money it brings in, but Dragon Ball Heroes is the worst. That's actually the real reason I decided to start working on new material. I was afraid Bandai would make something irredeemably stupid like Super Saiyan 4 Broly." - Akira Toriyama, made up interview, 2013.

Why can't they use this one? I really don't like the main cover...

Check the new scan with Goku in Naruto outfit.
James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.

Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

Yeah that's what I'm saiyan. I like that cover minus the random Broly up there. It's very cool looking and not an in-game graphic or whatever it is on the default one. Looks more crisp.

That's a video game cover. The cover we're getting should be on the back

Gah, I really don't like that artist. Where is SSJ Goku looking at? Even I can draw better than him/her..

They're popular characters, and the developers clearly said the game will feature the most popular characters over all.

Still they look out of place and badly Photoshop. It looks like I did this on Vegas.

I think the box art is kickass.... to bad it's for a mediocre game  .

Although I quite like the official one I'll have to admit that this one's a lot better, but either way both are pretty good looking.

After all we've seen so far from the game's gameplay I can't even try to defend this.. thing.

Hopefully by 2014 when the game's released I do hope the gameplay has been vastly improved from the 2013 footage. It's just unacceptable for a retail release.

The game still looks fun to me, people are being too harsh on the game. I always thought a semi remake of Legends is what most people wanted?

The gameplay is shallow as hell. Even Zenkai Battle Royale looked far too limited in the number of things you could do with the gameplay.

Well I never played Legends which I'm sure is a good game in its own right but anyway I still have some interest in this game... Tokyo Game Show is next Thursday and depending on what we get from there is the make or brake for me with Battle of Z.
It's not too late. One day, it will be.

your speaking like it's fact and not just speculation. Honestly, what we know and seen from this game is still very limiting. There haven't been in depth demonstrations or breakdowns yet and no one aside from those developing the game have been able to play the game and give an impression. That's why people pull the "well you haven't actually played it" card; because you haven't and you are speaking in absolutes.
...Wait what are you doing? Are you still reading this? I finished what I had to say, why don't you move on to the next post?

I fucking called it  . This is coming from someone who defended the game earlier on. Isn't the point of the game preview is to MAKE us buy it even if the game is not finish. We can say the same to the people thinks the gameplay is good. Since they haven't played it they can't say it's good. But I guess that statement only applies to those who don't like what they see.
