This very well suggest that they will dub the movie soon, if they're mentioning the movie in an English Trailer for a video game.

Not gonna jump to conclusions just yet because I remember when they included Tarble in one of the games(I FORGOT ALREADY! HAHA! :P) and they dubbed him but we didn't get the Jump Special. I just hate the idea that this movie ''May'' be pushed onto a game. even though I'm just probably being paranoid. but seeing as how ''Plan to eradicate the super saiyans remake and episode of Bardock'' were put on games...that worries me. :?
The Dragonboxes are like a middle aged woman who still looks good through simply taking good care of her skin and body with maybe a tiny bit of makeup while the Orange Bricks are like a middle aged woman who get's 50 tons of botox, makeup and plastic surgery in order to look younger and as a result looks even worse. ~ ringworm128

The trailer was pretty bad, but the bit about Battle of Gods is exciting.

May not be far around the corner.

With Plan to Eradicate the Super Saiay-jins being made specifically for RB2 and Episode of Bardock being a special made for a limited audience in Japan, it made sense to include them in their respective games. Battle of Gods is a full theatrical film that they are going to want to release as a stand-alone. Putting it on the game would be terrible for Toei and FUNimation since the bulk of the sales revenue would go to Namco-Bandai and not the original content creators (Toei) or the localization team in the US (FUNimation).

And if it was on the disc, why would they have gone ahead and done a regular release in Japan this past week? "Hey, you just bought this awesome movie for a bunch of money! Do you wanna get it on a game for free?!" That would be a huge middle finger to customers who bought the DVD/BD. The chances of it being a Western-only pack-in are even slimmer.

Settle down. It won't be on the disc.

Whoa, yeah, I can see what you guys are talking about with the feel of this trailer. I'm fine with the old approach to DBZ, at least more so than most here, but...yeesh. This trailer kinda punches you in the face out of nowhere, when you're expecting something a little more...calm.

I am laughing at them hyping up 'the first game in OVER TWO YEARS'. Like that's really a long time to wait for something, yeesh. :P

And I'm with everyone else saying that Beers' voice sounds really familiar. It's mostly on his first line there, but I can't quite figure out HOW or WHY he sounds familiar...thus far he definitely doesn't have the 'lazy' or 'rough' sound that Yamadera does, but I need to hear more to really know what to think.

Beerus' voice might seem off right now, but since this is Kai-era Sabat casting. I trust him, this is the same guy who brought in Ayres for Freeza, I think the dub actor will do just fine. He probably still wouldn't have been my choice based on FUNimation's actor pool (I would've personally chose someone along the lines of Tatum or Willingham). But, just 'cause he isn't Yamadera (probably hard to find a voice match for him considering his ridiculously awesome range, probably top 5 in favorite Japanese voice actors) doesn't mean it's bad.

You know, I like this trailer. I think the completely over-the-top delivery by Sabat is just great, somehow it feels close in tone to both the old Japanese trailers and the old Z dub.

Bills/Birus sounds quite different from what I was expecting, but it's too early to make a judgement just yet.

Just noticed that there are two versions of the BoZ trailer out:

One with Sabat's narration and the Japanese voices (features FLOW's cover of Head-Cha-La): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A8ghEz5Xx6k

And the other with Sabat's narration and the English voices (no FLOW, but different music): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WwIs718L2eU
Nothing matters (in a cosmic sense.) Have a good time.

To this day it bothers me when an english release of anything Dragon Ball takes out the Japanese music. Just leave it, it's always better then whatever generic stuff they come up with.

I doubt they would touch it if the AB Groupe didn't charge and arm and a leg to use it; so it's pretty much all Europe's fault. =P

Whiss sounds meh to me. I get they were going for the gentlemen voice but when I hear his Japanese voice, his english seems it should be Todd Haberkorn. For Bills..I dont like it. I dont know the actor but it sounds like the guy who did the Armadillo General in Gurren Lagann or the guy who did Ling Yao possessed by Greed in Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood (Troy Baker).

Yep, seems like Troy Baker, I couldn't exactly remember where I heard it. But Greed possesing Ling does seem to have the same voice. So, if it's correct. Beerus is voiced by Troy Baker and Whis is voiced by Ian Sinclair, if the guesses are right anyway.

To be fair. In the english dub at least(Funimation) each SSJ form has a deeper voice. Something I do like about Funi's dub of DBZ. The fact that only Goku's voice get deeper ith each SSJ form is also unique.

SSJ: Slightly more deeper
SSJ2: Slightly above SSJ's deep level
SSJ3: Extremely deep.
SSG: From what I heard in the trailer. In between 2 and 3 in terms of deepness

Ew, I haven't watched anything dubbed in a while and have successfully weaned myself off FUNimation's mispronunciation of "Saiyan"; hearing Schemmel's "Super Saiyan God" hurt a little.

We know FOX has the rights to the film, and Tarble was in a video game once. Beers and Whis getting cast is indicative of very little.

I don't really have too bad of a problem with the pronunciation of Funimation's Saiyan. different strokes I guess haha :P

Maybe they'll go down the Disney dubbed Studio Ghibli route and bring in big name actors.

MATT DAMON IS GOKU
BEN AFFLECK IS VEGETA
ROBIN WILLIAMS IS BIRUS

...Good Dragon Ball Hunting Z

I finally watched BoG today, as it finally came in, due to some trouble with FedEx. I absolutely loved it. Beerus is just awesome. This (as well as the JSAT as I got the limited edition) were my first full viewing in Japanese, and the cast was amazing. Though I have to agree, that while Masako Nozawa nailed the characters, the battle cries were a little lackluster. Otherwise the cast brought their A-game, even though I didn't understand a word, as I watched the raw Blu-Ray on my PS3.
