GBA Bruce Faulconer Music
I'm not a huge fan of his music even though I do like some of his songs. But I honestly got to say I like the GBA versions of his songs more. Almost everything he has done I prefer on the GBA version (LG2/BF). Am I the only one who thinks GBA music was better than the actual anime versions.
Why Dragon Ball Consistency in something such as power levels matter!

I've always thought this too but admittedly I'm bias because I didn't grow up with the majority of the Faulconer soundtrack for Z so I was introduced to the game's music first. After hearing the real thing I was quite underwhelmed.

You are talking about the Yannis Brown versions I'm pretty sure
Here's his website and Soundcloud:

He once reviewed some of my demos on the AudioGang forums. He said they were too Faulconer haha which surprised me because most people in those circles don't know Faulconer. Then he informed me he had spent a lot of time working on "Bruce's" music for a video game. That's how I first learned of the GBA version years ago.
Cool guy, very active in the VGM composer community.
My favorite thing is listening to his interpretation of my guitar noodling in the Vegeta theme ^^

I really enjoyed that music in LOG2 and Buu's Fury. It really helped made those games a great experience. Obviously in a game it's more appropriate to have constant music so it didn't have the same issue the show version had but on the whole I still prefer the show version.

I don't like either one of them, but if I had to choose between the two, I would have to go with the GBA versions.

The LoG2 team did a good job with keeping the original compositions in a Faulconer style, for example here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l_q2cuUqYGc
Even some of the Legacy of Goku 1 music is good. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FF95mmbAKqI
The only thing that could have improved LoG2 was if they redid the portraits (which they actually did for The Legacy of Goku II International, the Japanese version of LoG2). Also, I don't know why they removed the intro from the PAL version.
