Why hasn't Supersonic Warriors ever been on Home Consoles?

This series has so much potential but sadly Namco Bandai never gave it a chance to shine on home consoles which would have brought its potential and popularity up.

Fighting system isn't deep from what I've played (SW1) it seems pretty basic but that isn't a bad thing, it's actually quite addictive and with a second human player it gets a lot better.

The Sparking and RB games are the closet thing that you are going to get to a console version of Supersonic Warriors. It would be cool if they did a third game, but the last game came out years ago. I think most people have forgotten about this series by now.

You'd have to go back nearly 20 years to when there was a sprite based Dragon Ball game on home consoles. The reason is simple, sprite based games sell worse than 3D ones and if it's not sprite based people could get it confused with Dimps' stuff. Additionally, Arc System Works is kind of busy with Blazblue, Guilty Gear, Persona 4 Arena, and their new PS4 IP.
"I like the money it brings in, but Dragon Ball Heroes is the worst. That's actually the real reason I decided to start working on new material. I was afraid Bandai would make something irredeemably stupid like Super Saiyan 4 Broly." - Akira Toriyama, made up interview, 2013.

Yeah, I was gonna pop in to say "sprites" as well.

It would have to be a pretty different type of game entirely, perhaps one done with polygons (which loses a bit part of the charm), or be an incredibly over-budget-huge-production game to get the detailed sprite work necessary on a modern console.

We have recently been getting a wave of HD remakes (such as the Ducktails remake), so it may one day be possible to get them (there are always Virtual Console releases too). It may be possible for a 2D/2.5D remake of some of the older games, it just depends if companies are willing to risk retreading old ground.

I guess there was never any incentive to port it to consoles. If it ever did, it'd be through digital distribution.

I don't think it will work like that. SW is game done specifically for handheld and I also think that Spike games are closest to SW albeit in 3-D plane.
