Is there any possibility for an anime version of Jaco?
Hello everyone. The manga is mentioning Dragon Ball so much and I want to see it in anime (form). How about its anime adaption possibility?
Re: Is there any possibly for anime version of Jaco?
A 40 minute special could work, perhaps, but certainly not anything longer than that.
I'm sure the Jaco and Omori sections would be pretty funny, however, I'm not entirely convinced the work is up to a standard where it's even worth making an anime adaptation.
The Dragon Ball tie-in is nice but the actual content isn't particularly interesting nor worth developing into a full series.

If we take Neko Majin Z as any indication...then no. I really hope they take this opportunity to tackle both of them though. I don't care if they do OVAs, specials or start up a new 13 episode series called "Dragon Ball Chronicles" or something. First half of the season could be 5 episodes adapting Jaco at about 2.2 chapters into each one, then 2 Episodes covering both Neko Majin ga Iru chapters, 1 episode covering Neko Majin Mike, and then another 5 wrapping up with an adaptation of Neko Majin Z (either direct gag adaptation or reworked to fit into the post Buu continuity better).
Make it happen Toei.

Pretty much my own thoughts right there. Don't see it happening, but I'd love to be surprised. Anything's possible...?
Who would be a great voice for Jaco? As much as I try to really brainstorm, I keep coming back to Mayumi Tanaka. I just hear a very enthusiastic, but occasionally short-and-to-the-point Luffy-style delivery fitting Jaco really well. I wish I could be a little more imaginative for him!
In terms of Neko Majin characters, Kōzō Shioya has always been my main choice. I just want the Mister Buu voice as-is for Z, and it would make Z and Buu together hysterical.

Also who edits my post by converting to good grammar? Is that automatically?

A 40-minute-long shot of Master Roshi asleep on a deckchair would be funnier than an anime version of Jaco...
Re: Is there any possibility for an anime version of Jaco?
I doubt that there would be an anime version of Jaco the Galactic Patrolman, but it could still be possible. Maybe a short OVA or two with some of the Dragon Ball characters?
