A million times yes. I am so tired of the same old roster game after game. All we got thats new recently was Bills and SSJG Goku in Battle of Z. GT can have what, 30 possible characters to the roster? Infinite World had a great GT Roster, using the essentials like Baby, Super 17, Nova Shenron, (not giving SSJ4 Gogeta a 10 second timer during the Omega Shenron fight), Pan, GT Vegeta, I think Majuub.

More games need base/SSJ GT Vegeta.

Of games that release in America, how many had him? Just Infinite World?

Ok cool. So it sounds like almost everybody here would love to have GT characters in the video games. Sweet! Ok so my next question is.....where is Namco Bandai getting the belief that we don't want them?

I don't know. I think it's just the prevalent belief that Z outshines everything else and therefore its story is the most well known, thus they just reiterate the same story with the same characters ad infinitum (Radditz to Boo).

However, that has become tiring a long time ago and they could use GT characters, especially its villains to do something new. I mean they are there, we know from the series that they have crazy powers, so why not use that potential to make them work ingame? Figure out new inventive and creative techniques that fit the characters and throw them in the game. How hard can this be?

But that takes time and time costs money, so they say no from the beginning.

Yes, it brings more variety. I see no reason to not include GT in games just because of some people dislike. Even if it that's the case, that shouldn't even be a factor of deciding characters, but rather putting characters for completion. If they're not going to include GT because some dislike like to the point that they'll not buy a game feature GT characters (Which is dumb), then I have no words.

Can you imagine Ssj4 Goku and Vegeta in HD fighting game; too bad they'll keep reusing the same character over and over again. :P

Perhaps the closest we'll ever get is Budokai HD collection. But thats not really HD, its really just a polished up version of a ps2 game. I know what you're talking about: SSJ4 Goku and Vegeta with RB2 or UT type graphics. One can only dream I guess :(

I don't like Dragon Ball GT, but I wouldn't make such a needless, condescending statement. Anyway, I don't have a problem with making GT characters available as long as more relevant characters from previous series aren't missing.

I wouldn't say I'm firmly "yay" or "nay" for the inclusion of GT characters. I'm not big on GT, and while the characters themselves have some neat designs and Supers, I'm not one of the people who want huge rosters. I really just want the roster to cover enough of the Z characters for a satisfying story mode, and then some of the cooler movie villains. After that, I'd rather the roster stay small and the character's movesets unique. There's always something left to improve, and so I don't like many characters being created that take away from other areas that could use improvement.

On the other hand, a lot of the time the rosters end up with really questionable shit on them like Cui or Babidi. If they're really going to be excessive with the roster size they made as well include GT characters over characters like that.

I think the thing that either Namco Bandai or the developers (or both) don't get is that, while most don't like the GT story, people still want the GT characters to use in the games.
Hopefully, things like Janemba-Baby and GT Gotenks will start to mix things up for future games.

I want GT characters. That the anime is very "unstable" not mean that the design of the characters aren´t cool

Another reason is with the add of this characters, we can "retold" the GT story with our ideas

If you add Oob to that sequence, you can see all the material they've never used. Except Oob that one time in Budokai 3.

Yes, yes, YES! There are so many interesting GT characters for a video game!

Agreeing on the fact that GT has great ideas and horrible execution, but don't let that damn the characters to the Phantom Zone when it comes to game rosters. Games that cover the full Z story and are looking for extra characters should always, at minimum, give us the 3 main villains and the Super Saiyan 4s...maybe Pan and Uub too.

I don't think GT Vegeta needs to be his own character. Just give DBZ Vegeta a GT Vegeta outfit and you would be good to go. I hate how the third sparking game give us too many versions of Goku and Vegeta.

Of Course GT should be part of the games, it bothers me that this question even had to be asked.

Makes me wanna smack the Artdink/Namco Bandai representative for that bull shit "Oh you like GT?' comment.

Think about Generald Rild, all the Baby forms, and all the evil dragons. And why not the Doll Toki characters?

But thats exactly why I felt the need to actually create this thread; so I can clarify this topic. Namco Bandai, for some crazy unexplainable reason, believes the audience for DBZ games have no interested in GT characters in the video games. Which is entirely not true not all.

I don't mind GT Vegeta being separate. Usually I'm not one for characters being separated into multiple slots, but GT is such a different entity that I think it's better to separate the characters. I just find it weird that IW retained the Z Goku and Vegeta's ability to become SS4.
