Looks like scans from the yaoi/gag doujin, Head-Cha-La. These panels look awesome!
That artist has serious potential. I mean come on look at it, people could mistake that for the actual manga.

Another great artist is the hentai author Garland (I think thats his name). Heres some of his "safe" pages.

Wow! That art looks great, very much like AT's style.
I'm re-watching Dragon Ball GT in full on my blog. Check it out if you're interested in my thoughts on the series as I watch through it!

I love Garland (I'm sure that's his pen name), he was a big inspiration for me back in the day. I own physical copies of the DBH doujins. :D

I'm surprised theres so many artists this good with Toriyama's style. Hell, Piccolo Daizenshuu's art looks even better than the original work though my favorite is either the artist of Dragon Ball EX or Young Jijii. Really need to contact these guys and see if they are available for drawing my series.

Can't see Garland pics :(

Going for direct link (http://static.doujin-moe.us/r-tbtx83w9. ... 1380442252) gives "403 Forbidden".

Just stumbled upon two pics I haven't seen before, and thought they were good.

Image

Bardock as Senbei, Raditz as Arale, and baby Goku as one of the Gatchans...this has no right to be this adorable, and yet, it is.

This second picture is somewhat large, so I'll spoiler-text it.
Really cute drawing of Super Saiyan Pan, arguably one of the best pictures I've seen depicting her in the form.

I made a design of an older Pan for a potential Manga style rewrite type of GT, or my take on it. It'll be 14 years after the Tenkai'chi Budokai, so Pan is 18, Uub 24, etc. I do plan on introducing a fan-character. But, his whole purpose will be to make fun of a lot of Fan-Character clichés / stereotypes. But, the reason Pan looks like this is she wanted to wear a Dogi like Goku and Gohan did. But, like Gohan, Pan trained with Piccolo at an early age (Gohan allows it) and later Vegeta when she wants to get stronger and figures since Goku isn't around most of the time, he is the best teacher. So, her Dogi uses colors from Vegeta and Piccolo and has the Kanji for Ma/Demon on the front. The drawing may be kinda iffy, but something I drew via a laptop pad. The calibration on the drawing tablet I have isn't all that great. I tried to make her face seem a little older as well. At first Goku will be relied on, but as the story progresses, he leaves and trains again and forces the next generation to fight for themselves.

Image

I will add in more details about the potential fan-manga when I'm on my phone. That's where I put all the info about it!

Someone on tumblr asked me about drawing proportions and instead of explaining it in text, I thought a visual guide would be nest. Maybe someone here will find it helpful too.

Weird, I dunno why the SS Pan picture isn't showing up. It was, I even checked it to be sure, but now it's not. :/

Love the Mai and Trunks picture.

Friend of mine let me borrow his tablet. I've only ever drawn traditionally - pen and ink and all that. My experience digitally has always been layout based so I can colour fine but I've never really done anything involving drawing complex shapes.

I'm fairly happy with it, I guess. There's room for improvement for sure.

Image

Added a subtle grain layer for that 'authentic' Dragon Ball feel. I was too lazy to remove the crossing lines for the headband and to fix the very sharp edges on the top left of his face. I'm sure I'll do it eventually but for now, this'll do.

Only things I guess I could add would be the white highlights on the ear and maybe the back of the neck too.

A few rough drafts of my Konatsian (Tapion's race), Mani. Drawn by Naruttebayo67. Note that shell have no scars or tatoos, Narutte just likes drawing them for some reason.

Someone on tumblr asked me who was the easiest and hardest DB character to draw. And Gure and Vegeta were the first two that came to mind.

Image
Believe it or not but I have a hard time drawing Vegeta (or pretty much any DB character with an everlasting scowl). There are times when I draw him a little too tall because for some reason I tend to forget how short he is compared to other characters.

The easiest character to draw is Gure, for obvious reasons. She’s pretty much a circle on top of a triangle with little arms and legs.

Almost forgot to add that I really like this. What kind of tablet did you use?
