What type of villain do you want to see next?
What new type of villains do you want to see next? The one thing that I like about BOG was that it give us a new original villain then rehashing old ideas since Slug, Metal Coola and Bebi were just rehash of old ideas that we seen before. I would like to see another demon villain or vampire villain again. I also think a main female villain would be cool to see as well that can be as powerful as Buu or even stronger.

A reality-warper (originally I thought Beers was gonna be that, what with the 'destroying the common sense of Z' thing).
If you have a reality-warper villain, it could lend to both gags and serious-business stuff depending on the type of story.
EDIT: I know Janemba kinda counts, but I mean something more varied than indirectly causing zombies to rise, or those jellybeans. I mean more like reality-warping the Earth and the people who live there.

A turquoise space Pomeranian who farts cheese dust that causes advanced mega-AIDS in Saiyans. Voiced by Gilbert Gottfried in every language it's dubbed in.
Pan goes Super Saiyan 20 and defeats him when Super Saiyan 18 Radappa (Raditz and Nappa fusion) fails.

I think I'd like to see someone who poses a different sort of threat to the Z-Fighters. The whole 'he's stronger than anyone we've ever faced' has become a worn out formula which has led to a farcical escalation in the battle power of the main cast, to the point where the only being in the universe that can seemingly pose a threat to them is a God.
We've had villains that can transform, villains that can possess and absorb, villains that can regenerate - and combinations of all of the aforementioned, why not go down a different route?
Why does a primary villain have to be so incredibly strong to pose a threat? Why not give us an antagonist who has certain special powers that make him threatening? Or give us a cerebral, king-pin-like genius who's primary powers are manipulation and subterfuge?
The 'every villain has to be stronger than the last' formula has to end if the franchise is to be expanded upon in any great detail.

I want to see more antagonists or villains like Abo, Cado, Biirus, and Wiis. All of those guys are threatening in one way, but very funny and fun to watch in another way. That blend of humor and villainous threat is something that I've really grown fond of since the Jump Special and I want to see more of it while we still have a lot of the original core cast willing and able to perform in more Dragon Ball Z films.
Re: What type of villain do you want to see next?
Personally found Birus/Beers as a joke. Pathetic character design. Some Pokemon & Cat-like Villain. Really Toriyama?
Nothin about BOG villain seems original to me. Slug was lame-ass foe, Bebi was bland at best & Birus/Beers falls right into this category.
On topic, I felt Majin Buu was the peak. How else can you top a bio-tech engineered foe, while keeping the scale & scope of galactic wars escalatingly? Buu was the peak.
Its hard to ever surpass Buu's capabilities. Maybe it gotta do with his near-immortal persona, but TOEI tried & failed with Bebi. With Super 17. Heck, with all those 7 Dragons, still failed what Toriyama succesfully accomplished.

What is there past Beers!? He's easily my favorite "villain" in the series.
Vegeta: "Funny... I seem to recall Kakarot being fed the same information right before he transformed; the distinct look on your faces when he went Super Saiyan didn't exactly inspire confidence. One does not predict or calculate power like ours."

Sad thing is with the arrival of SSJ3 Broly back in 09 and the fact Bio Broly teased a possible 4th film, I'm just waiting for it to happen.
Kami help us if that actually happens. The Brolytards will swarm us all.

SSJ3 Broli was just fan-wank for a game, it means nothing more than Cell's form with Krillin absorbed.KentalSSJ6 wrote:Sad thing is with the arrival of SSJ3 Broly back in 09 and the fact Bio Broly teased a possible 4th film, I'm just waiting for it to happen.

As for the last Broli film, it was so long ago and so bad that I seriously doubt that whatever kind of loose end it hinted at will be followed up on. There are, quite simply put, so many more loose ends in the Dragonworld that could, should, and probably wont, be tied up long before that one ever is.

I suck at imagining villains. I've pretty much seen the generic "I LEIK DESTROYING EARTHS BUAHAHAAA".
Bills' personality really was a nice change from the usual baddies. So i'm thinking someday we'll get another unimaginable enemy to the series.

...
Anyways this guy should return. Or perhaps a villain from DB Online or a new evil Saiyan.

Re: What type of villain do you want to see next?
I think that next time, I'd like something a little closer to the original Birus and Battle of Gods script. Just a little at least.
Don't get me wrong, I loved Battle of Gods and Birus is at least in my top three antagonists (can't decide between him, Freeza or Pure Buu). The last two new stories we had involving our favorite group of heroes have been very light though. There is nothing really wrong with that, especially when it's been a while since we've seen everyone. I just feel that if there is another story to be told anytime soon, then the next one should probably be a little more serious. Introduce someone who is some sort of threat...maybe someone who is actually evil again, though they don't have to be as long as there is a higher sense of tension or urgency with the situation, whatever it may be.

Re: What type of villain do you want to see next?
I would like to see a misguided villain that travels through time to try and drastically alter history so that the Z-Fighters would lose, simply because he or she thought it would interesting to see what could really happen. Even if time-travel works differently in the Dragon Ball 'verse, Goku and the others want to prevent timelines like Future Trunk's.
Re: What type of villain do you want to see next?
One that Vegeta gets to beat. period. I want him to have his time in the sun.
Don't car if it's a demon, alien, android, android alien, majin, god, or hamster so long as everyone gets pwned and Vegeta saves the day!
Or alternatively 2 villains one for Goku and one for Vegeta and Vegeta's cannot be just like a mini boss and again Vegeta saves the day

I'm with you on that 100%.Kakarot88 wrote:One that Vegeta gets to beat.
Vegeta has been through enough over the years and has developed into a character that I think really deserves a solo win now.
In terms of what type of villain I'd like to see. I'd really love just a plain interesting character - Freeza and Cell all felt like real, truly horrifying entities and yet Buu, whilst terrifying, doesn't quite have that level of character development that the others get. He doesn't 'feel' like a real person, he's what he was designed to be - pure evil.
Birus was definitely a step in the right direction but was severely limited by the film's length. I'd love to take it much further with a new character in a TV series.

Re: What type of villain do you want to see next?
Hell, what if Piccolo became a villain again? Correct me if I'm wrong but didnt Toriyama originally intend to have Piccolo be possessed by the Majin Curse instead of Vegeta? So why not have some villain come about and possess Piccolo in a attempt to destroy the Z fighters. We havent had a canon Namekian villain since Piccolo himself way back at the end of Dragonball so I think having a Namek villain again would be refreshing.
I'm also with Devil's Corpse on a villain based off of Bill's original concept (not really all for the lizard design) where the guy goes around infecting races with evil. Hell, make it a Makaioshin and make it so the whole righteous Saiyan concept from BOG makes at least a little sense.
When it comes to making up new villains, I have to say I'm ones of those guys who just wants Saiyans, Saiyans, and more Saiyans. To be honest I dont really care for the other races in Dragon Ball besides the Saiyans but I would like to see a villain from one of the races we see in GT such as Ledgic, Susha, or Mochi (think thats his name, brown guy with tentacle arms).

Re: What type of villain do you want to see next?
The villain in Battle of Gods was originally going to be designed off of a Lizard so I'd like the next villain to be another God of Destruction from another universe that resembled a Lizard. A Komodo Dragon I suppose.
As for his personality I'd like him to be a little insane, none of the canon DBZ villains have been insane yet unless you count Kid Buu who was never of normal state of mind anyway. He should be someone that cracked under the power of being a god and takes his job too recklessly destroying more planets than necessary and jeopardizing the balance of the universe.
I guess the story could involve the Z Fighters having to travel to another universe in order to stop him.
