What exactly are we assuming is the basis for reaching the level of SSJ3?

Obviously not all saiyans are the same strength at a particular level of super saiyan, but SSJ3 is a HUGE amount of power, and SSJ2 Gohan completely outclassed even Super Perfect Cell in every possible way.

And it's not like Future Gohan is a slouch like Buu Arc Gohan. Minus the whole missing-an-arm thing.

SSJ3 is 400 times base. Future Gohan is more than a bitch compared to present Adolescent Gohan. Seriously, the dude is weaker than his father when he got back from Namek.

Pretty much. Unless Goku has SSJG and whether or not he permanently has the power it gives him while in base, Gohan takes everyone in DBZ up to Buutenks.

Lets put aside all the Gohan hand holding for now.

If it came down to a serious life or death fight between Gohan VS Goku and Gohan fought like he did against Super Buu, Goku doesent have a chance in hell without SSJG. If Gohan had SSJG, hed likely be in mid to late GT territory for strength.

I highly doubt that's enough to put this in Goku's favor. Gohan is just too much stronger than Goku.

I don't see how the Shunkan Idou would help him. He still has to charge the Kienzan and Gohan isn't gonna sit there while he charges it.

It's not possible to directly compare SSJ4 GT Goku to SSJ God Z Goku. It's obvious SSJ God is a lot stronger than SSJ4, the question is whether or not GT Goku is enough to close that gap. I personally think SSJ God Z Goku > SSJ4 GT Goku.

Well, Piccolo surpassed Super Saiyan Vegeta after merging with Kami, or at least I think he did, someone may wanna confirm that. That put Piccolo dead even with Android 17, and I think he and 18 are equals in power and 18 whooped SSJ Vegeta.

After his first trip Vegeta was able to own second form Cell while first form Cell (after absorbing millions) essentially one shot Piccolo.

I forget what gains Piccolo made in his trip but with my current knowledge, id say Vegeta would win provided he used Grade 2.

See I thought Grade 3 is when the speed decrease takes effect. I dont remember Vegeta being hampered at all when he was "Super Vegeta", which was Grade 2.
