I still like the original version that wasn't part of TFS.

I'd love to see Dead Zone abridged .

I enjoy it too, but I'm definitely looking forward to whatever comes with the new version.dbzfan7 wrote:I still like the original version that wasn't part of TFS.

If I had to be completely honest? The original is... actually pretty terrible to me. And to the rest of the people involved in it.
We're looking forward to putting out a much better production this time around. It's been really fun to work on so far; hopefully it'll be a hit when it's released.

I wouldn't say it's terrible, but it's definitely not up to par with DBZA. So I'm looking forward to seeing the TFS version.KaiserNeko wrote:If I had to be completely honest? The original is... actually pretty terrible to me. And to the rest of the people involved in it.

If something is truly perfect, that's IT! The bottom line becomes there is no room for imagination! No space for intelligence or ability or improvement! Do you understand? To men of science like us, perfection is a dead end, a condition of hopelessness. Always strive to be better than anything that came before you but not perfect! Scientist's agonize over the attempt to achieve perfection! That's the kind of creatures we are! We take joy in trying to exceed our grasp, in trying to reach for something that in the end, we have to admit may in fact be unreachable!"

I've actually been waiting for The Dead Zone and the World's Strongest to get redone. I can just see how the current voice cast could just annihilate those movies with funny and awesome if they redid them. I'm looking forward to it!

Re: DragonBall Z Abridged
I've actually never seen the original version of Dead Zone Abridged. Would you say it's at least worth watching that version once before watching the new version Kaiser, to see how far you all have come, or should I just move on with the newer version?
Either way, can't wait to see it. I'm expecting great things to come out of the drunk Gohan antics.

May as well see it. The jokes aren't up to par with the TFS standard and they aren't nearly as clever, but I still enjoy them.Gyt Kaliba wrote:I've actually never seen the original version of Dead Zone Abridged. No offense taken. It's kind of like the Z dub: A lot of the people involved now weren't even around then, they were very new at the whole process, it was done quickly and cheaply, and all the people involved now look back on it with embarrassment.TheGmGoken wrote:No offense but I too also hated the original Dead Zone Parody.

I remember liking the original parodies at the time they see made, but I know that you can and will do a lot better now.
