It's not what would usually pass for Grade II Vegeta, but then again, most of the characters don't look like they used to in the crappy, modern drawn art we get of them.

His hair is still longer than normal and his muscles are bulky. His arms are much thicker than he'd typically be drawn. It's not much different than the rest of the Grade II art we've gotten in recent years.

He's not much bulkier than Toriyama's depiction of Vegeta. Hair looks like it's the same length also (not even close to the increase the manga depicts). It just looks like SSJ Vegeta, but drawn on the basis of Super Vegeta's manga pose.

Well Videl looks much better here than in the promo and concept art. She actually looks like the Videl we knew from the series, apart from the different hairstyle. Also Dende looks as old as he should be.

Okay now I am convinced that they originally forgot about Ultimate Gohan and only put the form in because of the fan complaints. I think they tried to change Gohan's colors everywhere they could, but they couldn't do it in this scene because all the golden auras are mixed, so they just didn't bother and are leaving us with the idea that Ultimate Gohan can still go SSJ. This makes no sense since I doubt Pan is going SSJ inside Videl's womb but whatever I guess

I was convinced with the first fight scene of when Gohan "power up to Mystic." But what you said only reaffirms my suspicions as well.

Gohan can still go SSJ, just so you know. Not sure if it boosts his power even more, but I think it was the fact that he didn't need to was why he never did. I honestly don't know the exact reason, but I know he can still go SSJ and SSJ2.

This is your opinion as there are many arguments that support the case of why he can't go Super Saiyan any longer.

However, it was stated by Old Man Kaioshin that the "Super whatever thing" has been "depraved", meaning its useless. I'll have to go back and check the exact quote but he was indicating that it was useless. If you remember, he hated the idea of transforming saying "its the wrong way to go about things" and indicated it was sort of a 'waste of energy.'

He can still go SSJ, Battle of Gods makes that clear as day.

It's never stated or implied that Gohan can't go SSJ before or after unlocking all of his power.

Old Kaioshin says that after Gohan become Ultimate, he don't need go Super Saiyan. He never says that he can't go Super Saiyan.

To be fair, he basically "does the thing that you're supposed to do when trying to go Super Saiyan" (roughly), and the result was the Ultimate state.

Though that could easily be rationalized as him becoming Ultimate when trying to "do that Super Saiyan thing" to its fullest extent (the same way Goku would go SSj3 if he tried to do it to its fullest extent), while SSj1 and 2 can still be arrived at if he doesn't power up fully.

"Why did he go Super Saiyan instead of Ultimate here?" may be a question that is asked, from an in-universe perspective. The same question could be asked for why X character went SSj instead of SSj2 or SSj2 instead of SSj3 at a certain point where being at max power wasn't a necessity. "Because he didn't feel like it" should be more than a sufficient in-universe explanation.

I believe Ultimate Gohan was shoehorned in. Hell he tried to go SSJ once when he got angry at the Elder Kaioshin and he only got SSJ eyes. Ulltimate Gohan also doesn't have an aura, which movie 13 actually got right. Here he suddenly has one as he was re-colored over SSJ. Gotenks also doesn't bother with SSJ3 which leads me to believe Gohan was always meant to be an SSJ. Kinda like how in the Other World filler where Goku is clearly an SSJ, but they poorly covered it up.
