Favorite DB Toy?

For the people who grew up playing with Dragon Ball toys as a kid, which one was your favorite. I loved the Super Battle Collection figures from Bandai as a kid. Unlike kids in the US, I was playing the Japanese bandai figures. I own most of them as a kid and the SSj4 Gogeta figure was my favorite as a kid. I never like the DBZ toys that they made in the 90's and early 2000's in the US as a kid since they never look show accurate as the Japanese toys.

By the time I found the show I was already wrapping up high school, so there wasn't much playing with action figures .

That being said, my favorite figure will always be Kuririn packaged alongside the bazooka. 'Cuz Barry Watson lolz.

I remember seeing that at KBToys years ago. I also remember those large scale figures that they did in the US with the movie villains. I remember my friend had one for Metal Coola and I remember it looking pretty good.

The SSJ Goku with the gold hair that came with the flying jetbike thing. I always had him fighting all my batman figures, beatin them DOWN! I miss action figures... way too old to be doing that nowadays.

I really wish I hadn't given it away to a friend as a gift... especially since he's no longer a DBZ fan.

I used to have a SSJ Goku toy figure wearing That Saiyajin armor he was wearing while training with Gohan in the Time Chamber. now it's gone missing, i don't know where it is anymore.

my favorite toy was Adult Gohan from the Jaaks Pacific line Ultimate Figure Series of 2004- that toy had incredible articulation

This was one of my first DB related bits of merchandise I bought besides fan-subbed VHS tapes. The store I got my tapes from had these figures, but they were $25.00 to $30.00 so it was a toss up between actual episodes I could watch or buying one of these figures. I always passed on the figures but wanted them so bad. Eventually I did buy one. Vegeta! My favorite character in all of the DB series. I mean, look how awesome this whole presentation is! The figure in a box with a nice image of the character right there and that sexy ass Japanese writing. This is why I loved the Super Battle Collection.

I had the Vegeta, Kid Trunks and Teen Gohan ones of that . I remember I could never find the SS3 Goku or Gotenks ones. The weapon things they included felt pretty random. I mostly used to collect the tiny figures so I could "make them fight eachother" .

The Super Battle Collection figures are great. I almost bought the SSJ4 Gogeta figure the other day on Ebay for the nostalgia and someone out bid me .

Hmm.. I liked the Irwin DBZ figures when I was a kid. My favorite from that line was easily SSJ Gohan...



I've only ever had one SBC figure, which was Freeza. It's the only figure that I still have from my childhood.

It sucks that they stop selling DBZ toys at local toy stores years ago. I do feel kinda bad for kids who watch Kai on CW or Nick-Toons since they can't find Kai toys at Toys R Us or Target. They have to ask their parents to use Amazon to buy the toys for them. Nothing beats the feel of going to the toy store as a kid and buying the new action figure you wanted so badly.
