I agree with this... besides they already started going in that direction anyway with SSJ4 Goku, Vegeta and Gogeta's alternate costume.
@Kental

I know you're not the biggest fan of the silver-ish, gray and white look for SSJ5 but I think that look is far too iconic for them too just ditch it for an potentially even more outrageous design.

Assuming we ever do get a Super Saiyan 5 form (god I hope not), they should never design it based on what is "iconic" to some fans. A fan creation should never be a determining factor in restricting the official artistic design process for a franchise.

Cool new stuff. Is this called "Time Mission 1"? Also, is that a yellow Genki Dama in the last picture?

The black shirts comes from Goten. In the manga Goten wore black and orange not Blue and Orange

Perhaps, but like I said, they seem to have been going in that direction since the Budokai days and now that Toyble is most likely the illustrator behind the manga adaptation, I think its safe to say that if we ever do get an official SSJ5 (which I wouldnt be against at all), Then it'll most likely look like the one we're most familiar with.

I have nothing against completely original design though.

No, it comes from Trunks. Goten isn't wearing the clothes he wore as a kid. That's what they wear while doing the Fusion:

Well, look at GT Gotenks in every fan art (including Toyble's AF), think what we would most likely see, and then look what we got in Heroes... It's impossible to predict what we will see next.

nice! GT Gotenks in animated action. Even if it was pretty short

Also, this is probably the 2nd time we've seen SSJ4 goku in a DB heroes animation video since an early video where he lifted Great Ape Baby. Looks like we'll be seeing more of him in new "trailers"/intros for obvious reasons

If they do SSj5 for the super secret card of the Shadow Dragon saga then won't it have to get approved by Shueisha? Even if Toyble is behind the manga for DBH, I doubt he can use anything from his AF manga since his manga is not even based on his own work.

Yeah but grown up Gotenks was never an easter egg or alternate costume in a game either, until now where he's an official character.

Speaking of Adult Gotenks, he looks awesome doing that "Burning Kamehameha".

It's not the direction they were going. Super Saiyan 5 was never an Easter Egg it's just alternate color patterns for Super Saiyan 4. With something as important as adding an entirely new transformation, I highly doubt Toyble would be the one in charge of the design either. It'd likely go to Toryama (given his recent activity in the franchise) or Yamamuro. We have no idea what direction they would take it either (especially with Toriyama). Probably wouldn't follow the "logic" any fans have imposed on them, meaning we'd have o idea what it'd look like.

No, they aren't. Some of the characters, other than Beat, look like previous designs, but they aren't the exact same.

Also, assuming most of the commercial plays the animation in order, those four would represent Beat, Nico, Kabra and the Freeza Clan Berserker. There were four kids and four avatars helping Goten and Trunks. Meaning none of the Victory Mission designs were used.

Yeah I was guessing that part too, since the girl looked like Nico in her alternate costume. I guessed Kabra saw going to be the fat one, it's just the freeza clan berserker that confused me a bit.
