Yep, definitely more than the anime. There was a decent amount in the Full Color versions of the Freeza volumes I bought (4 and 5).

I'm holding off on the full colors. I'm not a fan of digital copies so I'm waiting for the physical ones next year and to see if they are just reprints of the vizbig editions. If not, then ill just find the kanzenbans to order online when I can.

I got'cha, I bought the Japanese editons. Not the biggest fan of Viz's adaptation. In the beginning you get more of an accurate art presentation, but iffy dialouge. Where towards the end the dialouge isn't that censored, except for name censorship like Mr. Satan's name. I've seen DBZ enough times and have a basic enough understanding of Japanese to know what's being said.

I HATE Viz's version. I absolutely despise censorship and editing in general. Thats why I refuse to buy the Vizbigs because I know I'm getting cheated into a uncomplete product. Whats more is that Viz did the Rurouni Kenshin vizbigs completely uncensored and unaltered. Blood, violence, language, its all there, but not in DBZ. It infuriates me.

DBZ (Non-Kai) will always be treated as the censored product of the 90's that intentionally will have flaws in all products so the companies can get more money out of people. Luckily I got all of the English Dragon Boxes, so other than Kai Buu, the original DB and some of the movies. I own most of the Dragon Ball anime.

I really hopes Viz comes to their senses and releases the physical full color versions with the unedited, unaltered, and uncensored content. And also, re-translate it. Piccolo talking like a knight of the round table is just...ugh.

Id rather see GT redone from the ground up instead of a redub. As much as a GT Kai would likely help the series I doubt it would be enough. It would need the FMA Brotherhood treatment for it to be a success.

True, but that's probably what Kai should've been. I love Kai, but to think of what could've been.

True, but that's probably what Kai should've been. I love Kai, but to think of what could've been.

I enjoy it for what it is.

I bet if they used the animation that was used in Budokai 2 and 3, it would have been way more well received in Japan.

I don't even hate the style they use now, but that's about a good in-between of what DBZ used to look like and a proper way of making it look more modern.

I like the Budokai animation more than any other used with DBZ. The animation in Battle of Gods and Ultimate Tenkaichi is alright, but to me, nothing beats this animation

Can't disagree with you there! I like the Ultimate Tenka'ichi/Blast style too. Similar to Battle of Gods/Episode of Bardock/Re-animated cutscenes, but toned down a bit.

I prefer the style used in the Jump ova, it looked much like Movie 12 and 13 than Battle of Gods or any other new stuff out there. And yes, Budokai 2 and 3 animation is just eye candy to the extreme.

I liked that style a lot too, except for the way they decided to do the hair for Super Saiyan, they dropped the ball thee.
