It should definitely have NEO/BT2, METEOR/BT3, and Tag VS./Tenkaichi Tag Team HD. I'd buy the shit out of that.

Re: Tenkachi HD Collection?
I remember my brother telling me about a new DBZ game that was like Zone of the Enders back in '05 or so. The concept seemed so amazing, so when I first saw it I was an awe. Recently I looked up a video for the first Sparking!/Tenkaichi, and man... it looks so bad.
It should definitely have NEO/BT2, METEOR/BT3, and Tag VS./Tenkaichi Tag Team HD. I'd buy the shit out of that.

If anything, they should do BT3 + TTT with proper online.

Re: Tenkachi HD Collection?
It honestly wouldn't surprise me if we were to get such a compilation as a compliment to Battle of Z. What WOULD surprise me is the inclusion of all four BT games. Even more so with online and optional Kikuchi music, but this is pretty much the point where I delve into wishful thinking. Though, the latter can easily fixed with Homebrew, provided they keep the original AFS files like with the Budokai Collection. As for the former, it would be very unlikely, since the typical formula pretty much goes like HD Collection = Easy Cash-in, and implementing online would use up resources.
On another note, I don't know if you all remember, but the international release of the first Budokai Tenkaichi game featured recycled Yamamoto music from the Budokai games, which means, if it were to make it into an HD collection, it would either see another musical replacement score, or, more unlikely, the Synthesized Kikuchi music.

Re: Tenkachi HD Collection?
There is literally no reason to have the first Tenkaichi game in a collection. It offers nothing the other 2 don't already have. It would also be a waste to have the second and third game together. I know deep down there are some differences in combat, but on the surface they are exactly the same, only 2 has lock on and 3 has more characters. If they were to do an HD release, It should be 3 and an HD remake of Tag Team. That to me would give the best idea of what Spike has to offer. But, if they are going to do an HD collection, it will probably be like Budokai's and offer the first and third game only; the first in the series and the "best" in the series.
...Wait what are you doing? Are you still reading this? I finished what I had to say, why don't you move on to the next post?
Re: Tenkachi HD Collection?
The BT series still isn't even that old and isn't really as much of a classic series as Budokai and doesn't have as strong of a following. It would feel sort of pointless considering the amount of HD Spike DBZ games that are already available. Plus the BT games are all pretty much upgrades of the previous game and people would mostly only play BT3 (although I thought BT2 was better). If they gave it online play and allowed us to choose between the Japanese and English score for BT3 then I might be interested. Or maybe they could do a Hyper Street Fighter 2 thing were they combine the 3 games into 1 by utilising the best elements such as BT1 graphics(they were strangely the best of the series), BT2 music and ability to move before the fight begins and the BT3 roster, stages and gameplay.

This is exactly what they should do if they were to release a Tenkaichi HD Collection.
I'd buy it just to play Tenkaichi Tag on the PS3, although I could if my PS3 were hacked. I have no need for Tenkaichi 3 since my PS3's the 60GB.

Re: Tenkachi HD Collection?
I would really have them just release Tenkachi 2 and 3. Tenkachi 1 and Tag Team can pass IMO.
The 2 of them are regarded by fans as the best in the series which I do agree (BT2 for story/music, BT3 for gameplay)

Re: Tenkachi HD Collection?
Tag Team can work since it was on the PSP and I doubt most fans played it. BT2/S2 does not have anything really worth playing other then the story mode, so BT3/S3 and Tag Team can work for a collection.

Then why not throw in all 3 games? Tenkachi 2's story alone should make it a shoe in.Hellspawn28 wrote:Tag Team can work since it was on the PSP and I doubt most fans played it. The worst thing they can do is not release Tenkachi 2. That would be like eating pasta with no Tomato sauce.

Re: Tenkachi HD Collection?
Tenkaichi 3 took the best out of all Tenkaichi games and put all into one. So no reason to have Tenkaichi 2, although Tenkaichi Tag should definitely be there as it's an awesome game that a lot of people probably missed out for being a PSP exclusive.Gogeta8001 wrote:Then why not throw in all 3 games? Re: Tenkachi HD Collection?
I wouldn't be suprised if they decide to not put in Tenkaichi 1 for the collection if they are doing one since nobody gives a damn about it, but I will be shocked if the "fans" are gonna bitch about it because Tenkaichi 1 isn't there, JUST like they did when Budokai 2 wasn't in the collection when it was the most hated Budokai.

Re: Tenkachi HD Collection?
BT2 has nothing worth to offer then the soundtrack and story mode. BT3 is BT2 but better and adding Tenkachi Tag Team would make sense given that other HD collections have PSP games throw into them. I think online could be likely given that the Wii version of BT3 has online play unlike the Budokai collection.

Disputed.

No need to discuss which game is "better" because any given person would prefer either game. However, to say BT2 has nothing of worth to offer except the soundtrack and story mode is incorrect.Hellspawn28 wrote:Those are your opinions. That's fine, but other people would disagree with you.

Re: Tenkachi HD Collection?
BT3 has better characters, better gameplay and a better camera angle. I don't see any reason to replay the second game again when the third game has more to ofter.

You keep using this word "better". Elaborate and I will follow your example. Otherwise I'll be forced to respond with "no uh."

You can't just say "you didn't elaborate so neither will I". You don't have a worthwhile post at that point, either, so please don't bother making one.
