What's the Name of This Song?

Post by dodge2461 » Tue Oct 22, 2013 6:48 pm

Hello. When I started watching DBZ in japanese, I started with Dragon Box 5, which goes through the end of the Cell Games to the beginning of the Tournament. One of my favorite scenes is the scene after Cell kills No. 16, and Gohan loses it. The song is amazing, but because I don't know how to speak japanese, I don't know what the name is, or even if they say the name in the song. Also, If it wouldn't be much trouble, could you tell me what CD it's on( I looked in the Music Database on Kanzenshuu, but again, don't know how to speak japanese)?

If the music database is right, it should be included on "Dragon Ball Z Hit Song Collection 13 – Battle & Hope".

Yep, the song you're referring to is indeed "Unmei no Hi~ Tamashii tai Tamashii". We do have a "Theme Guide" on our site, and the "Insert Songs" page is a good resource for these types of inclusions.

I was curious actually. Did Kai keep the insert songs for Vegeta and Freeza when the Kikuchi releases were made? Or were they removed?

'Saiyan Blood' was removed but 'Only a Chilling Elegy' was kept in.

Funnily enough, the reverse happens in the Cell Saga where 'News of The Cell Games' was removed but 'The Lone Warrior' remained.

Makes me glad I bought Kai in the single season sets instead of the dual season Kikuchi score sets.
