It's a bit of a missed opportunity that they didn't include the option to play the single player missions with other online players. Maybe they're just saving it for the sequel.dbboxkaifan wrote:This game should have been called "DRAGON BALL Z: SUPER BATTLE ONLINE!!" because it's what they were going for primarily.
The addition of single player feels like a bonus and having always 4v4 isn't ideal because 1/4 players is human while the others are bots. ARTDINK still has time to add 1v1 option and offline battle modes.
Re: "DBZ: Battle of Z" (360/PS3/Vita) On-Going Discussion Th
With each day this game seems only more and more ripped. What's next, they will cut the characters running on the Vita version as well or something?
Eh, so much for 'conquering the world'.

That made me laugh. But seriously this game lacks something. MAYBE if this is like the Tenkaichi Series with the first game being shit then maybe BOZ sequel can be good.

So the Vita gamers are getting a crappier version of the game being only with the English dub and that it's not graphically comparable to the 360/PS3 nor is it in HD.
There's a reason that Vita has 32GB memory cards, Namco Bandai.

If they do that, I'd actually consider buying the game.dbboxkaifan wrote:This game should have been called "DRAGON BALL Z: SUPER BATTLE ONLINE!!" because it's what they were going for primarily.

I think I'm going to support this one and pick it up. This game may not be that great, but I hope they get a chance at a sequel so they can correct things, because I definitely like the concept.

So the Vita version is digital-only correct? Then why do online retailers have a game case for the Vita edition too?
As the PSV edition is digital it should be advertised as "Digital Game Code" because displaying a case gives the wrong impression for the customers.
ShopTo - £27
Amazon - £29
Zavvi - £39
If anyone here is from Europe or specifically UK I'd definitely recommend buying from ShopTo because you get the game a day earlier than its release date. I got Sonic Lost World on the 17 Oct instead of 18 Oct (official release date).

Turns out that the news I read online on some Brazillian sites was true. The game will have Brazillian Portuguese subtitles. Nice (since I prefer their dub terms to FUNi's)

I was hoping for the PT-BR and Latino Spanish dubs because they're really good but subtitles only? I'll just stick to English then.omegalucas wrote:Turns out that the news I read online on some Brazillian sites was true. The game will have Brazillian Portuguese subtitles. Fingers crossed they don't call Mr. Satan as Hеrcule but they probably will.

Mr. Satan won't be called at all.

If they are anything like the European Spanish subtitles, they will keep him as Mr.Satan.dbboxkaifan wrote:I was hoping for the PT-BR and Latino Spanish dubs because they're really good but subtitles only? I don't think there was ever an anime game to have a dub that wasn't English or Japanese...dbboxkaifan wrote: I was hoping for the PT-BR and Latino Spanish dubs because they're really good but subtitles only? I'll just stick to English then.

Also, the Brazillian subs will have Saiyajin, Kakarotto and other terms closer to the Japanese ones. If Mr. Satan ever shows up, he won't be Hercule, don't worry

EDIT: Funny, the greek demi-god son of Zeus named on your post didn't turn into (the H-word) xD

Europe and Japan are getting a retail release for the Vita version. It's only a PSN exclusive release in North America. If size is really an issue, I'd expect the European version to ship with just JP voice acting.dbboxkaifan wrote:So the Vita version is digital-only correct? Just a quick slightly off topic, I know to play digital games on my Vita from JP PSN I have to format the memory card and set it up with my JP PSN account (LAME) but I should be able to play cards just fine, right? Like if I imported BoZ or Jump physical they should play regardless of which account is set up on the Vita?

Yes, you'll be fine with importing a foreign physical release. DLC will require you to jump through the memory card shenanigans though. Any patches are fine with your original account.jeisurii wrote:Just a quick slightly off topic, I know to play digital games on my Vita from JP PSN I have to format the memory card and set it up with my JP PSN account (LAME) but I should be able to play cards just fine, right? For the most part the characters look fine and dandy but the truly perfect being is rather looking awkward.TheMightyOzaru wrote:More pics:
