So, is there a single person that actually sees the Super Saiyan eyes here more green than blue?

They seem rather blue to me. Looks either baby blue or deep sky blue to me.

I don't see the slightest tint of green in them. They're just pure blue to me.
Dunno why they keep changing the color. In the early sketches they were red, in the first colored manga they were pure green, in the anime they're teal, and here they're completely blue.

Re: Full-Color Manga: preview/reference panels for each chap
Okay, more delay on the previews, great!
See, I have panels from the Super Saiyan part until the very end of the arc, no problem with that, cropped appropriately thanks to Paint.
But this time, I did lose my editing program (Picture It!) for good, which has two consequences:
- The first consequence is not that important, I just can't reunify properly separate parts from a same panel (which happens on about 5% of the panels for each chapter), but that's not a big deal because only one part of the panel is usually enough to show you what the colors of this panel are like, so it's okay.
- The second one is the one that delays my posts: I don't have my resizing tool to make the panels preview-sized. The thing is that Picture It! was handy because he automatically offers you - when you save the file - a bunch of auto-generated resolutions, so by selecting the lowest one, I was sure the panels were going to be roughly around the same size when compared to each other.
So I'll have to figure it out another program that can resize a picture, and possibly come up with my own resolution if it doesn't automatically proposes a set of resolutions. Maybe my GIMP can do that, I'll check it out. It should be possible if I always use the same size for the height and it auto-fixes the width accordingly, but I do hope that all pictures (especially the "vertical" ones) will still be viewable properly if all panels are now the exact same height.
So I'll just do some tests and try to fix that resizing problem, sorry for the delay, but the whole Super Saiyan fight is almost there! (and also one major coloring mistake when Freezer takes a look at Goku for the very first time, but wait for it!)
EDIT: The resizing problem should be fixed, I found some resizing things with Paint allowing me to modify the resolution.
Just have to see if I can use it to reunite parts of a same picture too now. But the biggest problem is solved!

Re: Full-Color Manga: preview/reference panels for each chap
I can't add those new chapters to the first main page right now, cause I had to post the Freezer arc inside the Saiyans post and it has now reached the max limit.
I'll probably transfer the Freezer arc to a whole new post soon, leaving the first page for all arcs until the Saiyans, and then having Freezer, Cell and Boo on a new triple post, with an intro message basically saying "On this page, you'll find these arcs. For those arcs, head to page blahblah".

Seems abit censored to me, unless the content I'm thinking off is on another panel.

Re: Full-Color Manga: preview/reference panels for each chap
^ It is not censored in either of those cases:
- Freezer spits blood in the anime only. In the original manga, his blood (and everyone's blood) is black but what he spits is clearly white. So it is apparently not meant to be blood according to Toriyama and was therefore not colored as blood in this color version.
- His inner organs dangling are in the next chapter, not this one. Spoiler: it's blue, like the rest of his internal organs compared to the red/pink of humans.

Like Cold Skin was saying, what Freeza upchucked in the manga wasn't really a dark fluid. I've always assumed it was vomit from being hit in the stomach so hard. Spit works too, I guess.KentalSSJ6 wrote:*Freeza coughing up spit instead of blood after Goku's famous stomach punch.

True. This is by far the best version of the manga.AjayLikesGaming wrote:Man, Toriyama's art really shines in colour. I can't get over how beautiful these shots are.

Aside from not using the colors Toriyama originally used for the Kame House, Karin, and Gohan's Saiyan arc outfit, these are pretty spot on.DBZGTKOSDH wrote:True. I think that they didn't use Toriyama's colors for these (and others) because Toriyama had colored them differently many times (Karin for example had 4 different colored versions).Tyro wrote:Aside from not using the colors Toriyama originally used for the Kame House, Karin, and Gohan's Saiyan arc outfit, these are pretty spot on.

Toriyama only colored Kame House once.
Re: Full-Color Manga: preview/reference panels for each chap
I recall Toriyama coloring Karin blue (kanzenban) and brown (Daizenshuu #7). I would have went with blue, personally.

Re: Full-Color Manga: preview/reference panels for each chap

You can tell which chapters/panels were colored during the original serialization from the different shading: the full color manga keeps the same shading on these panels instead of doing a simpler shading like the ones they use on the rest of the manga.

Re: Full-Color Manga: preview/reference panels for each chap
^ Thanks for keeping an eye on Mangapolo!
Could it be a sign that they'll move the special chapter in the upcoming release to use it as an intro to the arc instead?
That would certainly change the feel of the arc's beginning, first seeing a dark distant future with other Super Saiyans and an unknown character that seems to be Bulma's son, before heading back to our time and seeing that boy arrive in the story we know.
I'm not saying it would be better, but it would give the beginning of the Cell arc a whole new way of introducting that saga.
As a reader, you would be like "what the...?!" when propelled into a time where Gohan has also become that legendary Super Saiyan, along with a young boy that happens to be Bulma's son. You're sad because you learn that most characters you knew died (through dialogues) and now you see Gohan getting bloodily killed. The boy seems to plan to go back in time. And that's where you go, you're kind of relieved to get back to a time and characters you know, and while they panic at Freezer coming, that young boy shows up, and you know he's a Super Saiyan that went back through time before he even tells or shows about it. When he refuses to tell about himself, you know why. When he tells Goku about his dark future, you know what it's like. When you see the cyborgs arrive, you're like "What?! But, that's not them!! What the...?" and you have to wait for several chapters before knowing the truth (in the meantime, you've seen Trunks arrive and share your initial "that's not them" reaction).
Anyway, realistically I think they wouldn't dare to impact the narration process in such a way, but it's cool that Mangapolo tried that to sort of change how the beginning of the arc is perceived. The good thing is that since the reader wouldn't know it's an alternative future that will never happen and would take it as the story's normal continuation, seeing this chapter where every warrior he knew died is more horrible (when in the original he already knows that dark future won't happen in our timeline). The bad thing is that it would take out surprises and mysteries off the main timeline. Ultimately, it would increase the impact of the dark alternative future, but reduce the impact of some events in the main timeline, especially with the way Toriyama wanted to introduce this arc with mysteries and unexpected twists when Trunks arrives.
Anyway, to celebrate this, I increased the number of preview panels to 15 instead of 10 just for this special chapter... and also because there was a lot to show and I couldn't make it all fit in just the usual 8-10 pics.
