Firstly, it's spelled increase. Secondly, Gohan never stated his power level never changed. He said Freeza could get much stronger, not that he never did. Thirdly, he can't increase his body size at all, the machine parts prevent that. He was able to instantly increase his power to 50% of his maximum, and since the machine parts are used to make him stronger, without bulking up since that would be impossible, he should be able to increase his power instantly, much like he did when he powered up to 50% of his maximum on Namek. I would also like to point out that Trunks offered him a chance to power up. He'd be a fool not to accept that offer.

That's impossible though. Bulking up would distort his machine parts.

That's impossible though. Bulking up would distort his machine parts.

The machines are suposed to be advanced. I don't see why wouldn't they incrise and modify to his body size...

If SSJ Goku wasn't able to destroy 19 in first hit, why would Frieza's mehanical parts be any diffrent ?

Just the battle jacket showed function of not breaking while getting bigger, so why shouldnt this more advanced materials be any diffrent ?

I know what you mean. Some parts don't look strong, but they are suposed to be (not just for his 100% that i talk about).

Nobody noted any power increase from mecha frieza. If he powered up, someone would have noticed. And frieza was a fool. Thats why he didn't power up. He thought trunks was nothing.

That still wouldn't make sense. Those machine parts don't look very stretchy if you ask me. We've only seen metal stretch and contort in GT.

Who says trunks dwarfed full power mecha frieza? That's what's being debated. You can't just assume it as if it was fact.

And you can't judge the nature of an object just by how it looks to the naked eye. That's a fallacy. How frieza's mechanical parts look has nothing to do with what they can or can't do.

I actually can because it's the logical conclusion to come to. There's nothing stating the machine parts would stretch so the obvious outcome would be a breaking of the machine parts if he were to increase in size. You guys can believe what you want, but I don't see why Freeza wouldn't power up when Trunks gave him the option to.

The z fighters noticed perfect cell's power up to full power even though ssj2 gohan dwarfed him. They would have also noticed frieza powering up even if trunks was above that. But they didn't note any power up. Therefore he didn't power up.

And assuming the parts stretch just by the way they look is a fallacy. But I'm not doing that.
