Yes, because putting 18+ on anything won't make kids younger than that curious, and they will definitely not click the link and see things they are too young for on the internet.

I don't think kids would be an issue here. 18+ would indicate what kind of content to expect (hence why there are separate threads for fan art and sexy fan art). I could see why Kanzenshuu wouldn't want to go that far as to have a 18+ thread, though.

That and, do you guys really trust the kinds of comments we'd get in such a thread? We've already had a few in this one that have made me go 'uhhhh', and I'm pretty comfortable around this kind of stuff. I can just imagine how horrible it could potentially get.

And, again, just speaking as a former forum runner - there could be some kind of ruling in place that they couldn't do that even if they wanted to. I'm sure it's different since this forum seems to be completely made from the ground up by the staff, whereas my old forum was made/hosted by Proboards - but there was a rule that said you couldn't make a forum or even a section with 18+ level material.

(Granted, we did have such a section at one point, because I totally never noticed this rule until about a year after the forum was closed...but it never got off the ground anyway.)
