Wait, how many times did Goku actually use SSJ3 in the manga? One?Blu-ray_Mistress wrote:I wonder of how much they are going to take out of the Buu Saga?Spoiler:The Great Saiyaman arc there is actually very little to eliminate except Gohan's date, and how Videl found out that Gohan was Saiyaman. ( I wonder if they will stick with this or if they will completely reanimate it because how Videl found this out was much different in the manga.) The Tournament Saga had little to no filler, it was basically pretty much the same from start to finish the same in the manga. The Buu arc had some but not much from what I recall. The only filler that I can remember was the Goku transforming into a Super Saiyan 3 both for his fight with Buu and for showing Trunks and Goten how to do it. (In the last part he instantly transformed into a SSJ3.)
Gotenks vs Fat Buu (that never happened in the manga.) later after Fat Buu becomes Super Buu his fight with Gotenks doesn't last that long before he escapes and eats the Z gang (which you don't see at all. You get a glimpse at the group briefly as he figures out what to turn them into, before deciding finally on chocolate and lifts his antenna and shoots his beam)
The one filler I know that they will cut out is Goku and Vegeta searching for Trunks, Gohan, Goten and Piccolo inside Buu. In the manga, the scene after Vegeta walks away after crushing the Potara earring, did he find them. Also the fight between Kid Buu and SSJ3 Goku. I wonder if they reanimate the beginning of the fight, because when Goku transforms he goes instantly to Super Saiyan 3 and stays that way the whole time till he powers down.

3 times. Once, when fighting Fat Buu, The second time was with Super Buu and the last time was with Kid Buu.( I thought that he showed Trunks and Goten how to go Super Saiyan 3 but to my surprise, I was wrong. That never happened in the manga, only in the anime.)Fizzer wrote:Wait, how many times did Goku actually use SSJ3 in the manga? That's actually a plot hole in the anime, because later Trunks and Goten are all "to think there was something beyond Super Saiyan!".Blu-ray_Mistress wrote:3 times. Well, in the manga when Goku fought with Fat Buu Goten witnessed his father turning into SSJ3. Trunks on the other hand didn't so he would actually have no idea of what the transformation looked like.Fizzer wrote:That's actually a plot hole in the anime, because later Trunks and Goten are all "to think there was something beyond Super Saiyan!".

According to this blog, Horikawa once again talked about the Buu arc at his concert and this time he said that it's already set to air in the U.S.

Ahh I see! That could mean that, if the recent hints from the Japanese cast are to be believed, the American cast may have recorded their lines before the Japanese cast. Interesting!kei17 wrote:http://ameblo.jp/fuuyuu-xxx-sakurachan/ ... 50420.html

Yeah. I don't think they even have Kaioshin's voice in the Japanese one yet.Blade wrote:Ahh I see! That could mean that, if the recent hints from the Japanese cast are to be believed, the American cast may have recorded their lines before the Japanese cast. Interesting!
I just hope we get something by next year.

Huh? Furukawa tweeted months ago that he was working with Mitsuya Yuuji on something at TAVAC and just recently Mitsuya was spotted at an after-party for Nozawa Masako. Tanaka Mayumi claimed eleven months ago that they were recording the scenes where Goten and Trunks sneak into the adults' division, too. Mitsuya has worked on Kai.Metalwario64 wrote:Yeah. Oh, I see. I skimmed through this:

...and missed the 2010 part.Back at Otakon 2010, Kanzenshuu asked Mitsuya if he was planning on returning as the voice of Kaiōshin for Dragon Ball Kai (which, at the time, had not shown any signs of an upcoming/premature conclusion). Mitsuya specifically noted he was not sure if the production staff would be able to afford him, and that he would even be willing to take a reduced pay in order to carry on the role. He did reprise his role for a brief part in the 2013 movie Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods, but the status of his involvement with Dragon Ball Kai has been unclear.

I guess the Buu saga of Kai will be our main gift for the 30th anniversary for next year.

Does anyone know if this going to air the new episodes on Nicktoons again or are they going to put this on a different Network?

It hasn't even been officially announced to exist, so no, there's no information about which network it will theoretically air on.Blu-ray_Mistress wrote:Does anyone know if this going to air the new episodes on Nicktoons again or are they going to put this on a different Network?

I guess CW will more likely since it's on a public channel.

As long as they hold Cable rights, they are the only ones allowed to air it. And seeing that Nicktoons ratings have plummeted without DBZKai, its a no brainer that it will come back to Nicktoons.Blu-ray_Mistress wrote:Does anyone know if this going to air the new episodes on Nicktoons again or are they going to put this on a different Network?

Furukawa and Nozawa at a certain New Years party. They probably just recorded more Dragon Ball Kai. Horikawa and RFujimoto, too.

Re: Buu Saga Kai
I just hope Funi's release matches the rest of the series. Its nice when packaging matches.
I am thinking they will release it in 4 parts, but I hope its only 2 or 3.

I'm thinking they'll be going with 4 parts for consistency.

With the rumored 60 eps, that would be 12 eps a part.Gonstead wrote:I'm thinking they'll be going with 4 parts for consistency.
