Should Kanzenshuu fuse with Naruto Forums?

Imagine if Kanzenshuu and Naruto forums fused? Naruto is another awesome manga/anime series that is similar to Dragon Ball and Kanzenshuu is already a fusion of 2 website. Adding more popular anime websites we can have and Naruto and Dragon Ball news section and this entire website will have more fans, more purpose, and more awesomeness! Imagine such a community? Perhaps we even have a One Piece and/or Bleach section (but maybe not Bleach cuz that's not as cool)! The entire heavenly shonen collection will be all in one, it would go from the ultimate Dragon Ball resource to the ultimate mainstream anime/manga resource! Imagine that? Pretty soon we'll have interviews with Toriyama and Kishimoto themselves, maybe even more...maybe we bring world peace? Who knows the possibilities are endless!

I mean Dragon Ball is great and all, but it's kind of done and it would just keep this site more and more alive if it becomes the ultimate authoritative site for all the big shonen! Obviously we won't have the same people coming out with news for every series, but believe me...Kanzenshuu, the ultimate authoritative resource for Dragon Ball, Naruto, and One Piece! That would be sick if you ask me. Along with our brand new Dragon Ball wiki, we can absorb the existing Naruto and One Piece wiki's where they can exists together within our database, and our community will have different sections for each series, and maybe even a Online Battle Dome style debate section.

Have an open mind admit this would be more than cool.

And since we've already fused with One Piece and Naruto, why don't we link up with a Toriko website too. Then, since this site is already about 4 series', why don't we just turn this into a general Anime site? It just doesn't make a lot of sense.

On a side note, I don't think it'd hurt for Kanzenshuu to link up with Temple O' Trunks.

I agree. What made you think this would be entertained at all? The structure of the site, and especially the moderation of this very forum (for at least as long as you've been here) is clearly built around a DB-specific culure. 'Their house, their rules' seems to apply perfectly. Maybe you're just trying to get attention or generate opportunities for you to post, who knows, but I honestly wonder what benefit you thought could develope out of this thread?

I'm pretty sure he was being sarcastic. And he's right if we're going to include Naruto and company we might as well bring in every other anime. But I and many others use this site because of it's focus on DB, when I go to the main page I want to see the latest news on DB not the latest news on some series I don't even read/watch. I want to talk about DB with experts of the series not some guy who's here for One Piece. Kazenshuu is supposed to be the ultimate DB site not the ultimate Shonen Jump site.

Absolutely not, what makes Kanzenshuu so amazing is its direction and focus.
I love that if you want dragon ball then dammit look no where else. And if you want something focused on something other than dragon ball, then get to stepping.
Besides, our in-universe debates get heated enough, as is. I would loathe the day it then turned into the Naruto forums {shutters}

Are you talking about the NF forums? I stop posting there around 2010 because I found that site to be too mean spirited. I remember most of the OBD convo thread was pretty much "This user sucks".

We'll still have all our Dragon Ball stuff neatly packed in its own separate sections, but now people will have an option to view the Naruto news or the One Piece news, and their respective wiki's will find their home within our database as well along with our brand new Dragon Ball wiki, surely Kanzenshuu will rise above and become known web wide.

Uh, have you not been following this franchise for the last 6 years or so? BOOM! 2007, Orange Bricks. BOOM! 2008, Jump Special. BOOM! 2009, DB Kai, DB Evolution, Dragon Boxes. BOOM! 2010, DB Kai dub, Plan to Eradicate the Super Saiyans. BOOM! 2011, Yamamoto-gate, Episode of Bardock. BOOM! 2012/2013 Battle of Gods...EXPLODES. Who knows what'll happen in the coming years? The site's pretty much overflowing with content as it is, we need a Wiki to contain it all! Not to mention all the stuff that the guys are trucking away at behind the scenes.

In short, I don't think this is a good idea and I wouldn't want it to happen and I'm fairly confident that it won't happen.

I'm a fan of Dragon Ball and Naruto but the Kanzenshuu team could still focus on all incoming Dragon Ball news while the owners of the joining fansites will handle the news for their favorite franchises...being a fan of Naruto I would love a proper news hub such as Kanzenshuu for that series, but no site necessarily provides that. Daizenshuu evolved through fusion to become this site, why not look towards the future and have the site evolve once again to become even more powerful?

There answer is "no" for every reason outlined above by everyone else.

The fusion of Daizenshuu EX and Kanzentai into Kanzenshuu did not expand our scope in any way; rather, it amplified what we were already doing and provided more resources to do what we were already doing. To compare it to anything else makes no sense.

...Except...Anime News Network reports on lots of other stuff, all the time (example being that I swear if I have to read one more Kuroko's Basketball article that's not about the nonsense unfortunately surrounding that title being brought to an end, I'm going to slam my head into a wall very hard).

At any rate, I'd have to side with 'no' as well. I like that this site focuses on just one particular title, though it is always fun when other interests get name-dropped in podcasts. If anything, I'd love to see it expanded to cover all of Toriyama's works, but that's already been given a 'no' too, so that's that.

I can understand the wish for a Naruto site that's on the level of what Kanzenshuu is for Dragon Ball though. Is there really not one? I haven't really visited it, but I understand that Arlong Park is pretty much that for One Piece, so you would think there would be pretty competent sites for the other major ongoing shonen titles out there too.
