Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
If you don't me asking, in chapter 32, why was Buu's egg empty? (I haven't watched or read the Buu arc so that may be the reason I don't know)

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
It shouldn't matter what Buu says. It's not like Gast was threatening to kill him. The plan is to send him back to his own universe. Buu isn't begging for his life or anything, which might make a compelling reason to show mercy. Instead he's asking to be allowed to participate in the multiversal equivalent of an extra curricular activity as opposed to just being sent home. There's absolutely no reason for Gast to give in.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Well Boo knows that he can't absorb him, so Gast will probably let him go and he will calm down (no point to rage, and he obviously didn't know that there is someone strong like Gast still in tournament).
It's pretty obvious that we will get Zen Boo vs Gast...

How is he even talking?

Herms wrote:The fact that the ridiculous power inflation is presented so earnestly makes me just roll my eyes and snicker. Like with Freeza, where he starts off over 10 times stronger than all his henchmen except Ginyu (because...well, just because), then we find out he can transform and get even more powerful, and then he reveals he can transform two more times, before finally coming out with the fact that he hasn't even been using anywhere near 50% of his power. Oh, and he can survive in the vacuum of space. All this stuff is just presented as the way Freeza is, without even an attempt at rationalizing it, yet the tone dictates we're supposed to take all this silly grasping at straws as thrilling danger. So I guess I don't really take the power inflation in the Boo arc seriously, but I don't take the power inflation in earlier arcs seriously either, so there's no net loss of seriousness. I think a silly story presented as serious is harder to accept than a silly story presented as silly.

Of all the things Buu can do, talking without a visible mouth in the less impressive one.

I find it quite humorous that the "Raditz Strategy" is revered as masterful manipulation.
It wasn't empty, it was just full of rotten pink Buu goo. They needed a certain amount of energy to be released in order for Majin Buu to be revived, but all he got was some of Dabura's energy, since Gohan (a much weaker one than in canon, at that) just plowed through and Babidi made even stupider mistakes than in canon. So, pretty much, because of the lack of energy, Buu could not even properly metabolize.Weejus wrote:If you don't me asking, in chapter 32, why was Buu's egg empty? I see. Is it bad that I felt kind of sorry for Babidi? I don't know why, I just do.TheOverlyMadHatter wrote:It wasn't empty, it was just full of rotten pink Buu goo. I remember seeing your name here so I was wondering if you had deviantart or a place I could find your other work? These were awesome! There was a hentai Chi Chi/Bulma fusion but I'm not sure if that was yours.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Ya wanna know how I got mine? After my friend Goku defeated King Piccolo I went off to train for three years. I fell asleep in the desert and woke up with scars on my face! I never found out the cause but I have a feeling my cat Puar had something to do with it since he was the only creature around for miles.FoolsGil wrote:There's too many scars to go around...

No, it's not bad, it shows you're not a sociopath and can take pity when people suffer. Even when they're monsters.Weejus wrote:I see. Is it bad that I felt kind of sorry for Babidi? Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
I'm convinced. Asura is better than Gogeta Jr. at drawing faces. Whether Asura can top Gogeta Jr.'s overall best work in DBM, which I think was Dabra vs. Cell, remains to be seen. But I wouldn't doubt it. The characters just feel so much more dynamic than they have in a long time. Even moreso than some of Gogeta Jr.'s later stuff. It'd be nice if Gogeta Jr. would come back and split the drawing duties with Asura to alleviate the burden that caused him to leave in the first place. Their styles are close enough that it would still remain consistent.

I love Trunks' reaction to Vegito agreeing with him staying around.
Kind of surprised the Dai Kaioshin is buying into this too though...

Until i see fight with amaizing art (like Vegetto vs Broly) i can't tell who is better.
For now it seams that Asura is better and puts more effort in this...

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Yeah, it's pointless to let Buu participate. What's the benefit of not sending him home? Fine, Vegetto wants a good fight. That's expected. But what about everybody who isn't as dangerously irresponsible as Goku and Vegeta? What does letting Buu compete accomplish? Maaaaybe he plays by the rules but then you've just given one of the most powerful and dangerous beings in the multiverse access to the Dragon Balls if he manages to win.
Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
I also think that the Dai Kaioshin's decision is unnatural. Maybe there's some secret objective in the tournament?
