Like Lovey Dovey Stuff?

Know it's not quite in character and know Toriyama wasn't into this stuff, but does anyone else like seeing lovey-dovey fan-art of Goku and Chi-Chi? Don't know if it's because I'm a romantic, but I like seeing those kind of moments between them, even if they would never happen in the series.

I enjoy the pairing; their mini-arc at the end of the 23rd Tenkaichi Budoukai in the anime was a lot of fun, and I feel like Chi-Chi gets underutilized sometimes (or rather the anime one-trick-pony's her with 'Education Mama' for the first half of Z. I did like her attempt to space-travel after Goku and Gohan though. I kinda wish they'd used that "Chi-Chi enjoys singing karaoke." from the character songs in a filler ep. Son family goes to a restaurant with karaoke bar, Chi-Chi brings Goku up on stage with her and tries to get him to sing a duet with her. X3 Yes.) She along with where everyone was fighting-style-wise post 23rd is why I'd really like to see new material that takes place in-between DB and Z.

I'm not specifically into Goku and Chi Chi (they're probably my least favorite pairing in the series actually), but I do love me some lovey-dovey in Dragon Ball...or out of it via fan's minds I guess, since Toriyama seems to go 'cooties!' and flee into a time-skip at the first sign of character affection.

But yeah, I'm a big fan of the unsung romantic side of Dragon Ball. I'm seemingly one of the few guys who like that kind of stuff too. I blame I"s for this. Grr.

Not really. I don't mind satires of it though. Kinda like someone on DA who does stuff with Bulma and Vegeta

I went through a period in my life where I was a serious romantic. I loved romantic DB related art and fan fics. I purchased ever romantic doujin I can get my hands on and even drew a few pictures of my favorite pairings. But somewhere along the line I went from "I wonder what these characters look like kissing?" to "I wonder what his [bleep] looks like in her [bleep]?"

I have no clue how I went from one transition to another. I'm not saying I don't like lovey dovey stuff anymore, I just prefer one over another now. In fact, my TenxLunch comic will probably have some romantic stuff for brief moment before it gets down and dirty again.

I still enjoy seeing great DB couple art, especially of Goku and Chichi since there my "it" couple of love drawing the most. Who knows, maybe one day I'll switch back to romantic mode and draw less pervy drawings and more cute fan art... pffft...

In some ways, I actually kind of look at lovey dovey and certain levels of...well, pervy material...as kind of the same thing. Kinda. Kinda sorta, anyway. I mean, love does lead to that kind of stuff down the road, is the idea anyway, so...they're kind of two sides of the same coin from where I sit. Again, kinda anyway.

Not really into outright pervy, but more of an implied lovin' be it in a romantic way, or in a comedic after way. (Think Chi-Chi under covers to her neck with her arm holding a cigarette, and Goku with a big smile on his face).

I'm not too big on it, but I was reading a Goku/Chi-Chi doujinshi awhile back, about them living with Gohan and Goten and just having normal family/marriage stuff going on, and I thought it was pretty adorable.

That said, I'd love to see some stuff with Goku and Chi-Chi in their younger days, either before or right after Gohan was born.

I'm always up for seeing Gohan/Videl lovey dovey stuff, and sometimes I'll like a Bulma/Vegeta piece, but I think it wasn't until I saw a few of Kaboom's artworks that I started liking Goku/Chi-Chi fanart as well.

Love me some Gohan/Videl.
