Personally, I'm just glad to be regular. I've been busting to go since I first got on this forum.

I'd hate to see the toilet at Amy's place though...

Really? I thought you'd be living of a diet of scrambled eggs and curry. That always makes me crazy regular.

Quite a bit of time has passed, those of you who wrote Jump, did you receive any reply?

DBZ vol. 15 actually comes out this month... so if you find it, report back as to whether the problem's fixed or not.

As for responses... I've heard nothing. :?

Suggestion:

Give up on US DB/Z/GT. That`s what I did. Makes your life a lot easier and lowers your blood pressure.

Hehe... I actually.. well... agree, a lot...

I think what's bugging Julian and others about this is that it's just so sudden and unnecessary, given what they've been doing with the manga (which is.. a good job). Ever since their first big round of censoring, they've actually been a company that responds to the fans, which also gives it hope. So, I at least understand where all sides are coming from... ^^.

I don't speak Japanese, but I'm assuming that it might just be a way they translated it rather than a censor. They called Instantaneous Movement "Teleportation" after all. Yeah I know it's the same thing but they just didn't give it a fancy name.

Except isn't #16's move in English to being with (like a lot of Vegeta's moves)?

Yeah, pretty sure it is. Yet FUNi can't even get the English names right.

Although, they DID keep "Hell Flash" in Budokai 2. Plus, lots of Dabura's attacks have "Hell" in them.

Which makes you wonder, why is Mr. Satan called Hercule?

1/ We're talking about Viz, not FUNi.

2/ Parents across the land would complain in their bucket loads if the name "Mr Satan" aired on TV. It would cause Cartoon Network to implode under the number of letters of protest that it would receive. If Teen Titans can't get away with giving out Slade's full name, then there's no way that the big-afroed one would get to keep his.

It's not their fault, at all. If they changed it on a whim, then why'd they keep it on the DVDs? The name was changed because of television standards, something that they have no control over.

The reason "Hell Flash" and similar things are in the Budokai games are because those don't have to follow the TV standards rules. They weren't said on TV (as far as I can recall). The name "Hercule" was probably kept in to avoid confusion for the kids (who might have been confused at some of the other moves suddenly getting names, but you can't have everything).

Oh, I didn't know that was in English already. I just assumed it was in Japanese.

Heh, heh. "the big afro-ed one". I like that title! I think that should become Satan's new name! :D

1) I know, I was just sayin'.

2) I wasn't referring to the TV series.. I was referring to the game. Don't they keep Mr. Satan's name in the uncut version...? (Tihs is when fate gives me a mighty kick in the ass.)

EDIT: And what's Slade's name?

EDIT 2: Ugh, this is what I get for not reading full posts. Feel free to ignore this message if you want, aside from the first edit.

In the DC Universe, Slade is Slade Wilson aka Deathstroke the Terminator.

Didn't I hear that an instance of "flipping the bird" was also censored in a DBZ chapter of February's SJ? (the same issue as the "Hell's Flash" problem).

I'm currently missing that issue at the moment, so I can't check, but isn't that strange, also? They've shown the one-fingered salute previously in DBZ chapters...
