No, but that's great artwork. (I'll just add that to my favorites. :D) I was refering to an official picture that was photoshopped or paintshopped. I'll upload and post it tomorrow, as I don't feel the need to awaken any slumbering family members.

[edit]
Here's the picture! :D

It's not quite as glamorous as I remembered it to be. :?

When I was first getting into the Dragonball series. An "aqquaintance " told me that kurrin was really a sayain too and that he is just hiding his tail.

Also I used to think that if you found for example the five star ball that you would be granted 5 wishes just from that dragonball

Back before I got into the Dragon Ball trilogy, I was under the impression that Z was the prequal series to Dragon Ball. It certainly didn't help that Toonami got Z before the original...

I think that I was told that the gold hair meant they were gods (and thought that Z ended in some bloody battle with the SSJ's that led to the creation of the peaceful world of the original series).

Now, someone didn't tell me this, but when I first saw Mr. Buu, I thought he was a harmless guy since he was healing a blind kid's arm. Pff, harmless is the farthest from the truth as I found out a few episodes later. :P
I also go by "veemonjosh".

I remember when the rest of the Freeza saga was finally being shown for the first time my friend told me Cell was Freezas brother. At the time i believed it because i did'nt know a lot about DragonBall besides basic information. I then got a computer and an internet connection shortly after being told that and found out just how wrong that information was. :)

Well, as far as I know from the dub, Cell calls Piccolo his "brother," so I guess that would make Freeza his brother, too.

I was told about the different Fusions that never really existed when it was the "Buu Saga era" at the time I heard about it.

I was told that Tenshinhan and Yamcha were grown up versions of Son Gohan and Kuririn in heaven. This of course was in the Frieza saga when it aired all the time on Toonami. Safe to say that he didn't know what the hell he was talking about.

Yeah but that's a dub line so it does'nt count. Cell is'nt related to the people he's made up of, rather he's a clone of them. Another lie i remember being told was about Gohan. Back when i first started to learn a lot about DragonBall another fan i was talking to online told me that Gohan got a big powerup in the Buu saga and that he could'nt go Super Saiyan because if he did the earth would explode. At the time i was told this the Freeza saga had just finished it's run on Cartoon Network for the first time. Naturally i believed him because the Buu saga had'nt been released yet. Then it dawned on me to actually search the internet to see if he was right. I did'nt find anything that proved him wright but i did'nt find anything that proved him wrong either so i believed him. In fact i only recenty found it was'nt true when i first came to this site and read the rumors section.

Actually, in my manga Cell calls Piccolo his "brother" as well, but I think he meant it in a different way... You know (I suck at explaining).

Well, it wasn't some body that told me... but a "Special Edition" card series. Before I knew about DaizEX, and before I knew anything about rights and distribution (or whatever), the majority of the UK's newsagents were selling these unofficial cards. I must say, everybody had 'em. Everybody. Looking back know, they're hilarious! They came with stickers and bubblegum... with Dragonball AF pictures shoddily pasted onto crappy backgrounds! Oh, and don't get me started on the dumb-ass cards (I'll make a thread later, after I scan them :P ). There was a weird Piccolo picture, too... Argh! How did they get away with MASS production of these?!

On one of the cards, the character we all know as Veku was called... wait for it... "Gobum!" I'm not joking. Then, Frieza was called "Namek." Worst of all, Pilaf's fox-like minion was called "Zolee!" :P And his other minion (Mai, I think) was called "Android 12".

Oh man. :?

Yeah, he meant it metaphorically. He also calls 17 and 18 his brother and sister.

So you're saying, there was a company who made these and made money off of them?!

My ex-neighbor once told me that there was a Dragonball-A. He was referring to the Dragonball episodes where Goku and Piccolo fight in the tournament. What a moron. But I fell for it back when I was new to the series.

Thousands. No, more than that. Much more.

To tell you the truth... I was such a massive fan of Dragonball that I bought £100+ worth of cards. You only get one card in the packet.

Oh boy, I've heard a lot of stupid rumors. Sometime this last school year, a friend of mine told me that there was no dbaf, but in romania, where he is from, there was a series where all of the heroes come back from the dead and fight a bunch of bad guys that were reminents of freeza's empire. I think he called it dragon ball ghostz or something. Yeah, I believed him for about a week. Another one that my cousin told me was that vegeta got really mad with bebi in him and he went super saiyan 5(white hair and all) and forced him out. He then proceded to rip his heart out and behead him. Yeah, like funi (or whoever made dbgt) would show that on a bet. And I remember reading somewhere that in the freeza saga that yamcha and tien go supersaiyan while fighting the ginyu force. At the time I had no idea that earth consisted of humans, I just assumed that they were all saiyan. Oh, and I thought that gero had made freeza and the ginyu force along with the other androids and that's where androids numbers 1-7 and 9-12 came from. I'm sure I have more, but nothing else comes to mind.
I flunked grammar class twice
