Favorite Nathan Johnson track?

Mine would be Gogeta's theme. It just fits the grand power of Gogeta perfectly.

I dislike his score, but there is only one track that I like. http://youtu.be/80gGRRew6YE

I'm also not really a fan of his music (though the Ultimate Uncut dub in general brings back good memories of me and my brother watching the UU run on CN back in 2005), but there are a couple of pieces I find decent in his score.

I guess maybe this is my favorite that I can find on YouTube:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YUeGQge8bhk

I think it stood out to me when it was used in the last scene on the last Ultimate Uncut dub episode when Goku confronts Jeice and Burter.

My favorite would be the one that plays when Goku is training on his way to Namek. It kinda reminds me of Metroid Prime, so I guess that's why I like it. I have it ripped, but not on YouTube yet.

That one really memorable one.

OH WAIT.

(I guess the Vegeta vs Zarbon one was okay at points.)

So is it better or worse than Team FAulconer?

Difficult question. The Faulconer score is certainly more memorable. But then, it occupies a larger portion of the series. And the OSTs are available and tracks from them often linked to.

I'd say the Johnson score is placed better.

Talking about his old site, did anyone here manage to download any of the tracks Nathan had uploaded at the time? I didn't have access to the internet at the time and missed out, lol.
My Youtube account (Coycoy88)

I primarily rip and upload unreleased Faulconer Productions music, as well as some other American dub music.

The Jonson score is pretty similar to the Levy score except not as memorable and overall not as good. It's still pretty good though and I like how dark it sounds at times. The only thing Jonson's score really has on Team Faulconer is the silent moments. Other than that the Faulconer score is more memorable, more unique, more exciting and just better on the whole.

For me it goes Faulconer>Levy>Jonson>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Westwood Megaman music

IIRC Attitudefan has them. I have them as well though I'm not sure if I have them all.

Kami's and Guru's theme sticks out like a sore thumb. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U_cwXE6Wcds

The thing I like most about Johnson's score is that he nailed emotional scenes perfectly. There isn't a ripped track of it on the internet but there is a short scene in episode 36 when Krillin was remenincing Chiaotzus, Tiens, Yamchas, and Piccolo's death, and in just that short scene a phenomenal track was played.

DBZ Season 1 Blu-ray 2013 Trailer it sounds like something Nathan Johnson would do.

I'd love to listen to the clean full version of it.

I forgot there's another track I like: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4eX4Gk5imn8 This track doesn't fit DBZ at all, but I like it as one unrelated piece of music.

Why do you bring up something not confirmed to be his in this thread?
