It is an 80s wrestling sounding name. You can almost see him making puns on sending people to hell, and so forth.

On the other hand, the idea of someone having the surname "Satan" is possibly even more interesting. Send him to some of the more right-wing areas of the US, and sit back and watch the outrage and carnage.

I agree that "Briefs" isn't a surname. Think about it:

"Trunks" (pretty obvious)
"Buruma" (Bloomers)
"Briefs" (tightie whiteys) XD
"Bra" (again, pretty obvious)

They all have first-names referring to underwear.

...

Well, that and "Bra Briefs" just sounds plain creepy.

Well there is the fact that he's [briefs] referred to as "Dr. Briefs" to take into account. If it weren't for the Dr./prof/whatever title he'd be called "Buruma no papa" in japanese in the same way that her mom is "Buruma no mama"

There is a hockey player with the last name Satan (pronounced Sa-Tan instead of Say-ten or Satin).

You know that actually happened with the show "Digimon" in the first season when it came to the States. All these Christian groups started writing into Fox Network because there was an "Angemon" and "Devimon". It's quite frightening that that's all these groups think they should to do with their time. Not to mention these scary websites I've checked preaching the "sinful" evils of Pokemon! Yes children! Ash and Pikachu will surely lead you down the path to Satan! Really very scary.

Well, the show does constantly go on about stuff like "friendship", "responsibility", "the importance of learning", and other crazy Satanic crap. But it also has cute animals who are foreign and evil, so who knows?

On the other hand, they could just be referring to the fact that Ash is only slightly ahead of Goku in the "ooh, look, a fluffy cloud" brain stakes.

Hey Liam! Where have you been mister?! I've missed reading your wicked sarcasm on the topics! :D By the way, I had a chance to check out your website. I loved your Beast Wars section!

My monitor broke. The day before I needed it to revise/cram for an exam. Yay!

So I buy a new-ish one from a computer fair. Looks good. Nice and cheap. Get it home, plug it in, and it works fine. Lovely picture.

Until half an hour later, when I notice...a scratch.

I hate my life.

And two pages is not a "section", damnit! I am ashamed of myself (and I've actually got a handful of pages to put up all over the place that I haven't gotten around to doing. For a year. Tsk. But this is not the place to talk about my fantastic web-site. This is the place for talking about Diazenswicky FX, or whatever it is).

Don't forget that Videl told Gohan that it was uncommon for anybody to have their name separated into first and last anymore, or something to that degree.

No, one of those spambots who post links to porn posted here first. The Lecherous Muten Roshi, I guess, figured "since it's open..." So it's not his fault.
