I am the Super Saiyan! (Dragon Box/Kai Dub/BoG BGM)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R8LddcaXQyk
This is pretty much edited Dragon Box footage to match up with the Kai Dub audio. Plus, I wanted to try a re-score video with some of the Battle of Gods BGM (which I ripped from my own copy of the CD and is with the Dragon Box footage).
I may be doing a fandub of this at some point and if this BGM placement works I may keep it! I do have a different take on Goku in mind (I won't be doing his voice, actually I plan on it be Nozawa-esque)
YouTube was saying it got blocked in Japan, unfortunately.
Enjoy!

Didn't think the BGM fitted that well. Just didn't have that Super Saiyan feel or that epic moment feeling towards it. Felt kinda weak to be honest. Maybe if you used that song for Goku turning Super Saiyan but for that speech. The BGM made the whole scene weak.

Loved it, but I think some tracks would fit better. Still. Sumitomo on Kai is always a plus for me.
There's room for only one snake, and one big boss.

I actually chose to go a similar aspect to the Kikuchi Kai score. Where instead of pumping up the moment, the music chosen is more meant to reflect how Freeza's viewing it instead of the heroic type of take.TheGmGoken wrote:Didn't think the BGM fitted that well. Wouldn't doubt it. Actually, I kinda chose 'em based on track names and thought those tracks would fit. Beerus' Wrath for when Freeza shots the beam only for it to fail and The Legendary God during Goku's legendary warrior speech. But, I'm a sucker for the choir pieces in the Sumitomo score, so there's also that, haha!Black_Liger wrote:Loved it, but I think some tracks would fit better. Still. Still think it just does't fit well with the moment as this is Goku's moment not Freeza's being scarred for the first time moment. Hell I'll say that the original Kikuchi Score wasn't heroic. The song was just a good songs for something great is about to happen. Ya know?SSJ4 Furanki wrote:I actually chose to go a similar aspect to the Kikuchi Kai score. To be fair, I prefer the official scores for this scene. I mean, the Kikuchi version was really good, using the Genkidama theme. The Kai version was really cool too, a little more epic than Kikuchi's version. Heck, I even like Faulconer's for this scene, but I don't really like the track choice in this one. Sorry man.

I got'cha! No hard feelings, just testing out the score right now, seeing what works and what doesn't. I always loved the Kikuchi Genki-Dama themes, one of favorites next to Kyofu no Ginyu Tokusentai, etc.UltimateHammerBro wrote:To be fair, I prefer the official scores for this scene. I suggest you try some tracks from the FMAB score. Some of them are really epic. I don't remember the names, but there is one which I envision as Vegeta's theme, and one which would fit in an epic SSGoku-Freezer stareoff IMO.

I've actually done one for the Super Saiyan transformation. For the transformation itself I went with the non-vocal Lapis Philosiphorum.UltimateHammerBro wrote:I suggest you try some tracks from the FMAB score. Some of them are really epic. Can you give a link? I can''t find it in your channel.SSJ4 Furanki wrote:I've actually done one for the Super Saiyan transformation. I really like the Main Theme - The Fullmetal Alchemist track, which I think could be great for the moments after Krillin's death and immediately before the transformation.
I'll wait and see it, but Lapis Philosophorum seems too calm for the first transformation. I think I'd use Mortal Sin.
Then, I hear Nightfall in Central City as a good Goku theme, Laws of Alchemy as a possible Vegeta theme. Spiral of Truth is the track I was talking about for standoffs.
