There are over 30 IPhone DBZ games...

I'm just curious but are any of them any good as games? Imo, they look mostly like shovelware, any notable ones in there? (also, are they Japan-only or does America have anyy?)

Uhh, a lot of those look either fake or false entries. The only legit one I can tell is Dragon Ball Tap Battle... which I heard wasn't great, but, the graphics are pretty. :) Also, there's a Dragon Ball (no Z) RPG coming out on it.

Although not iPhone, I made previously a topic about old Mobile Phone DBZ Games that sadly are nowhere to be found now:

There are plenty of unlicensed Dragon Ball games parading around App Stores.
"I like the money it brings in, but Dragon Ball Heroes is the worst. That's actually the real reason I decided to start working on new material. I was afraid Bandai would make something irredeemably stupid like Super Saiyan 4 Broly." - Akira Toriyama, made up interview, 2013.

The only good Dragon Ball game you'll find on iPhone will be Tap Battle, unless you're using emulators then there's a lot of great titles to choose from.
FUNimation 2015 Releases I want:
- Kai 2.0 on Blu-ray

Those are most likely the crappy unlicensed games that you always see. It reminds me of that awful unlicensed Godzilla video game I saw on the Iphone which had the 1998 Godzilla film as the game's icon  . I'm pretty sure these unlicensed games are total trash anyways.

What do you mean by emulators? Are there old IPhone games playable only via emulator, or do you mean like emulating SNES games on the IPhone?

Retro consoles on iPhone. That requires to Jailbreak the device but for iOS7 it's not possible yet.

Why doesn't Funimation do anything about it?

The few good DBZ games won't sell well on the IPhone if there's a bunch of unlicensed shovelware there to convince people that all IPhone DBZ games stink horribly.

Namco Bandai could re-release old Dragon Ball games especially developed for iPhone/Android/Windows phones and make them "Free to Play" with micro-transactions included.

Want the ability to do a Kamehame-Ha? $1!
Want the ability to move to the next saga? $3!
Want the ability to play as Piccolo Daimao? $2.50!

Or just sell the entire package for $7-$10.

https://www.facebook.com/FUNimationChannel

If anyone wants to report the IP pirates, here's Funimation's official FB channel.

It's not fair that the legit games on IP will get a bad rap cause of the dozens of shovelware titles.

That's a Facebook channel devoted to their linear TV network ... While I don't think this page is for reporting copyright infringement, it's probably better than nothing.

The game "Dragon Ball: Legends Tap Battle" or what it's called specifically isn't exactly a good game but it tries to be and as such it can be fun.

Just wish I could be playing the original Tap Battle instead but iOS7 still hasn't been jailbreak'd.

The original Tap Battle game looks like such a great deal of fun it's a shame that I don't have the will power to try and get it. I downloaded the Legends of Tap Battle title that you are referring to and I thought it was quite enjoyable for what it was. :P
