Well, actually, I agree with you, but it's funny. Though I spelled it "Zoro" at the time, I really said "Zolo" anyway, and until I realized this I was really annoyed. But then I realized what I was saying.Conan the SSJ wrote:Please ... somebody ... for the love of One Piece's respect, get this guy to a properly translated fansub. I know, links are forbidden, but I just cannot stand any type of references to what that shit brain of an adaptation that 4-Kids started. Hell, I can't even call what they made "One Piece". Even if this was a reference to the Viz manga, Zoro just shouldn't be spelled in that ridiculous Zolo change. Sorry, I know this is an all-out DragonBall forum, but I had to get that out of the way.

Fully Japanese RPGs on the other hand, might be a problem.VegettoEX wrote:Xyex...
I don't exactly know Japanese either, and I've been finding my way around fully-Japanese non-RPGs for years. It's not that difficult. In fact, it's almost painfully easy.
But in any case, I can vouch for what VegettoEX is saying in that I've played some of the Super Butoden games for Super Famicom.

Heck, for that matter, the very first Japanese game I imported, X-Men vs. Street Fighter, had menus in english. Sure I didn't understand a word of the endings... buuuut, at least I could play it with the greatest of ease.
Even Naruto 3 isn't proving to be much trouble even though there's no english word to be found there. You just learn to know what collection of pretty characters(as in letters) does what.

Playing imports on Playstation 2 seems like too much of a pain. I think I'll wait and see what comments and reviews you guys who get it have to say when it comes out. Then I will consider importing for the Gamecube. If it is a 4 player game like Super Smash Brothers, then my Gamecube is more suited for that anyway. (I only have two controls for my PS2)

Here are more scans of D.O.N. from the latest VJump. (Yay, someone scanned before me and now I don't have to.) If you notice, a lot of this looks like what magic-box has... but that is because the magic-box takes already existing scans and crops them up.
Also, here is another D.O.N. commercial, but this time with Naruto speaking.
Now to find the Goku one >_>

I'm slightly dissapointed at the lack of One Piece villain. Granted there are quite a few to chose from, and some may say Crocodile could be to simular to Gaara and Enel is to powerful but none the less I'd like to see one from each series.
Come to think of it, maybe they should use Buggy, Arlong or Foxy.
I also hope they include some of the various power ups the heroes have used, and maybe Sogeking. Everything needs Sogeking to work properly.

True, but then again I can think of a few characters from DB and Naruto I'd like to also see included so other OP characters could be used.EvilGamerX wrote:Well they want to have same amount of characters for each series. They also probably want the crew members for One Piece. So that takes up a lot of One Piece's slots.
Out of interest, how easy would it be to play this game on my GC? I have an Action Reply disk and I'm 99% sure it'll let me play imported games. I assume that will be enough, but I want to double check (maybe the site could make a "play import game guide" or something).

Well, you can always use the "Freeloader" swap disc for the Gamecube. It works with the US Gamecube to enable it to play JPN Imported Games.
In the Play-Asia site they have a combo for both "D.O.N" & The "Freeloader" disc for the Gamecube about $80.80 ($15 for the Freeloader as opposed $22.90).

I forgot to mention, but it does work for the PAL Gamecubes as well.Caracal wrote:Except I live in England and therefore have a European GC. If you read the description it indeed says that you can play Japanese GC games on a PAL GC. Hope that helps, if you're Action Reply doesn't work.

This is what I scanned from Jump 30. Seen all the pics before but the (ps2) buttons seem to be talked about.
I think it is Naruto's moves because for circle, it says Rasengan.
