That would have been okay for an old HD Collection due to the fact that its music was plagiarised, but this is a brand new game developed neither by Dimps or Spike so being dumped with scores from Ultimate Blast and/or Raging Blast 1 is pretty awkward.

Namco Bandai has been building hype for this game so they can't just cheapen themselves out on the music department, give this game completely new score dammit. Ultimate Blast's music is nice to listen to but it feels like the same song being played over and over again.

I'd actually be fine with it if they could somehow license the Yamamoto Budokai music although it'll never happen. Still BT2 had a really good score sooooooo....

I don't see BT2's score working for BoZ honestly.

I would rather plug my usb and listen to my own music If the score is the same as other games or if it is bad
Someone hit me up when Krillin, Tien, Yamcha, Chiaotzu :lolno:, Goten, Buu, and Gohan :!: :!: :!: become relevant again :?

It worked for Raging Blast 2 wonderfully so it could do its magic again but frankly, using the same score four times (think I heard some tunes in DB:RoKP) in a row is too much.

That's if the developers allow that feature on PS3 to be used otherwise you're stuck to the in-game music and nothing else, however, on Xbox 360 wherever you are you can choose what music you want to listen to.

I loved combos in rb2 , tell I'm lying, there are no combo chains in boz?

That's the assumption. But who knows? Plenty of games don't really have combo chains and are still pretty good. Super Smash Bros. for one. Maybe that's not a great example, but I'm not going to let it be a deal breaker for me if it's true. Although, doing the same melee attack every time would probably get old. Also, I'm pretty sure each character only has one Super and one Ultimate. :|
I was Thanos before the MCU existed!

Awesome!
The demo will include the first 4 missions from final game’s single player campaign as well as online normal battle with the option for 8 player co-op or a battle mode with 2 players in teams of 4. Data and trophies will be transferable from the demo to the full game so your efforts here will be rewarded.

Wow...is it just me, or does that seem like a lot for a demo. Either way, I'm pretty stoked! My excitement/hopes for this game have fluctuated since the initial announcement, but as we get closer to the release (Or at least this demo), I've been getting more excited for this! Of course it won't be perfect, and there's a lot of things I'm disappointed about...but it still looks to be a fun experience.

Sweet. Thanks for this. :)

I'll definitely be downloading the JPN & ENG demos for the voices and music change, which might happen.

But The Gotenks idea of fusion fits better. But who knows....

Since Gotenks is there, we legitimately cannot say; the game might not have in-game transformations, but fusion might be an exception?

I won't be shocked if that becomes a complaint

"WHAT!? THEY HAVE FUSION! THEY HAVE CHARACTERS FUSE CREATING A WHOLE NEW CHARACTER BUT THEY DON'T HAVE TRANSFORMATIONS!? THIS GAME IS TRASH!?"

Then 10 - 20 years later the new generation are saying Ultimate Tenkaichi and Battle of Z are the best DBZ games in history because about every decade a new shift of nostalgia, opinions, and "Internet Rules" will be created. Similar to how Attitude Era of wrestling was HATED on the internet

They might be great for old games, but not for brand new 2013/2014 games. Battle of Z would have been a best seller if released in 2005, but now that we already had a BT3, Battle of Z is useless. They release games inferior to their predecessors, that's not like this that those games will sell well. No matter if it's a new developer, it's the same franchise and the same customers. I'm not going to buy a game inferior to the previous DBZ fighting games on its first day release just because it's the first time the developer works on the franchise and we should be indulgent with them. It won't be the first time a play a DBZ fighting game, there are plenty of them, from many different developers already.

The kids who like DBZ now will have nostalgia for the PS3 and 360 games like RB 1-2, BOZ, UB/UBT and DBZK in the future. BT3 came out on the PS2 in 2007, I think kids under the age of 12 or 13 most likely never played any of the older DBZ games on the PS2 since they were most likely not born at the time or were too young.
