Your Dragon Ball Guilty Pleasures

Checking out as many dubs/languages as possible. Although it is not Dragon Ball exclusive (I've even looked up clips of shows like South Park in Japanese, Lilico does a good job at sounding like Cartman despite being the opposite gender of the original actor, or Trey Parker). I found out Yamadera has dubbed the likes of Will Ferrel and Samuel L. Jackson, so I've been trying to find clips of stuff they've done in Japanese. No luck.

I'm with you on the Orange Bricks. They don't look as bad as some like to make out and they certainly suit my needs as a fan.

I would probably like that a whole lot more if it weren't being played almost non-stop for most of the dub. Out of all the recycled Megaman music that's one of the few tracks that's actually pretty catchy.

Where did a full version of this song come from? I only ever remember hearing this tune as either a karaoke version, or with the Scott McNeil 'Dragon Ball Z, Z, Z...' audio placed over it in spots. I want to say that was used for the opening of the Bardock special too.

Actually, I enjoy all of the Broly movies. They aren't perfect, but I've watched them all multiple times...I think I may watch one right now, actually...

Yeah, it was used as the opening theme for FUNimation's dubs of both TV Specials as well as in Madman's trailer for DBZ Movie 1. It's almost funny when you watch it with the 'HEAD CHA-LA' opening animation.

I'm tempted to say that it was from that History of Trunks CD, but I'm probably wrong.

So to conclude this post, FUCK ROCK THE DRAGON! It's all about "REPRESENTING THE DRAGON BALL!!"

Oh, guilty pleasures? Uh, English "Real Bands" score for DBZ Movies 4, 5, 8 and the Trunks TV Special. So nostalgic, and it made the movies feel that little bit more special- like they were actually movies for theatres. Also, 'Orange Bricks'. Budget release, cheap, easy to find, easy to pop in and just cruise through the episodes with 'Marathon Mode', has all of the audio tracks to please (almost) everyone and it's something that I wouldn't mind lending to friends.
