Of course, no.But, you'll admit that NickToons version is x9000 times better, on CW it's just a butchery.

I apologize for not being so educated on all of you fellas down under. :(

This is the Down Under Land I'm most familiar with myself unfortunately. :P
Don't worry. To most people, New Zealand is just the setting for Lord of the Rings. :P

And the place where James Cameron now lives and the whole Kim Dotcom/MegaUpload shebang.

That's enough about us though. Back to Dragon Ball : D

Its because its a broadcast meant for little kids. Its not for hardcore fans. And it they didnt air it DBZKai wouldn't be airing ANYWHERE. And if Nicktoons is so good go watch it there.

...I'm sorry if I'm mean.

Given how things are going, I'll watch the Buu Saga on CW so... :(

I agree, but too much is too much (poor Freeza...he felt that a little too much xD)...or maybe, I'm understimating the U.S rules about television, young audience and censorship.

I don't think Nick Toons even airs Kai anymore since I never see it on the TV listings. CW is on a free TV channel that anyone can watch and I think it will go to CW first before Nick Toons.

Do Nicktoons even own the rights to Kai anymore? They do GT but I have not seen them advertise Kai in a long time and thought it was stated they no longer have the rights.

On the contraire. Toonami and Jason De Marco have said Nicktoons still has the rights.

Nick Toons and CW will likely hold on the rights to Kai for another few years before they go back to Funi. I would imagine Toonami will likely grab the rights to Kai right after Nicktoons and CW's contract ends.

They would need for Nicktoons to lose the license for Toonami to be able to pick up the license. Toonami airs on a cable-based channel while the CW airs non-cable.

Cable and non-cable are two completely separate TV licensing agreements in regards to programming, which is why it can air on two channels simultaneously without any legal hassles.

At least... thats how I've come to understand it...braces for huge wall of sentences explaining why I'm wrong and should forever feel bad about it

No I think that is true but as for Nicktoons, they need to start re-airing it or something to give it attention. It was huge until it ended then nothing.

Nicktoons can just sit on Kai for as long as they have the rights if they feel that it's better for them financially to air something else. In fact, we don't even know for sure if Nicktoons by default has TV rights for the Buu Kai eps.
