Playing the game again, I love the online, I always stay like 10 minutes staring at the title screen, can't believe how emotional it still is :p
If anyone could check into the game files and extract the title screen music, that would be so awesome.

So what's the deal with the Japanese version? What kind of music will it get?
I'm digging the music from the Japanese demo but I'm afraid that getting the Japanese version for a low price will be a tough challenge.

Treevax wrote:Well, during the community night, we have had the final confirmations: the European +US BGM will be a mix between several previous games (DBZUT, Raging Blast…), while Japan will get the original anime BGM (by Shunsuke Kikuchi), as always. This is even more frustrating than the previous years, as several Namco Bandai representatives let us think that we would have these BGM this time (mainly during the Japan Expo 2013).

Just another reason I wish all games supported custom soundtracks. I could just play my Yamamoto soundtrack over the game and enjoy it that way, not that id buy this waste of time anyway. Just gonna keep rocking Budokai 3 till either the game or PS2 finally craps out.

I don't see why people are complaining about the damn soundtrack when you can put on and play with your own soundtrack. Stop bitching about it already. Damn.

I'm aware it does and I'm saying if only ALL games allowed that feature.TheGmGoken wrote:This game does allow you to play your own musicKentalSSJ6 wrote:Just another reason I wish all games supported custom soundtracks. So I guess general consensus is that the game is at its best when the 8 man mayhem really starts going but even then it could still be repetitive.
It's not too late. One day, it will be.

I'll try to decode them and then if successful, I'll get back to you or just post them here.Black_Liger wrote:If anyone could check into the game files and extract the title screen music, that would be so awesome.
Probably the Synthesised Kikuchi while we'll get crappy replacement music plus some new.Jord wrote:So what's the deal with the Japanese version? What kind of music will it get?

Re: "DBZ: Battle of Z" (360/PS3/Vita) On-Going Discussion Th
So I finally tested this out, and...I find it damn fun.
The gameplay feels a lot like the Gundam vs games (minus the melee options and the multiple specials) which is a good thing because it damn fits this series. Everyone of the four characters included in the demo feel unique (my fave is a tie between Goku and Piccolo, Krillin is also pretty cool) thanks to the unique actions which makes me look foward to see how the rest of the characters are treated.
Overall while the game is very simple, it is a lot of fun, hope to eventually see melee refined in the sequel.
(also...FUCK YEAH YOU CAN PLAY COSTUM TRACKS ONLINE!)

Thanks! It's easy to miss things in a big thread like thisTheDevilsCorpse wrote:It already was...sangofe wrote:Can you upload it on youtube?

Regarding the demo, I tried it today, both on PS3 and Vita. Honestly, I'm starting to think this was developed for vita and that the ps3 version is an upscale, because the colors and graphics look better on vita...
As for the game play, I was having trouble switching between targets, but I recon once I get used to that, it could be pretty fun. I rarely play video games at all though, and my brother who plays regularly had no trouble whatsoever with that ^^;

One thing though, online play is unbearble if your connection is slow. DX I've never gotten killed because I lag and my oponent has already jammed me with punches, but the characters get really unresponsive if your connection is bad... other than that it's amazing if your internet is speedy
.
BTW I like the score online battles, you can play 1VS1 and the battle can be pretty lengthy, and you need to device good strategies because raining kamehameha to your oponent will not give you enough points.

Was kinda hoping FUNi would go just with 'Beers' myself, but Beerus is my second choice, and I can work with that.

Pretty sure no way FUNi was going to go with that name as it probably wouldn't sit well with some soccer moms.Gyt Kaliba wrote:Was kinda hoping FUNi would go just with 'Beers' myself, but Beerus is my second choice, and I can work with that.

Thank you based Dende. Happy that the whole inaccurate Bills name should die out in the English fandom at least. Beerus or Beers would've been fine, but I'm glad that they with Kanzenshuu's clever romanization.TheGmGoken wrote:YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! True enough, forgot all about that angle. Beerus probably is the best option to go with to avoid any trouble. Like I said, I'm fine with that name, I just prefer Beers, personally.
But heck, that could change as I get used to seeing Beerus too. I still remember when we were all stuck with 'Birusu' just because that was all we had to go on at the time.
