'Wait a second, did you build a ginger android? Man, there's a soulless machine joke there, but that's beneath me.'
'Do not activate Android 16! He's not properly programmed!'
'Oh and how many of us are? Howdy folks, I'm Android 13. Look at my trucker hat!'
'I was going through a phase!'

Pure gold. I can tell I'm going to love 17 and 18 one hell of a lot more than in the original series.

The chiptune Cha-La Head Cha-La is the only thing keeping Pop N' Music relevant after all these years.

I'm amazed at how you guys continually top yourselves. Awesome episode.
Yamcha: Do you remember the spell to release him - do you know all the words?
Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!

Looks like Dr. Gero has been taking robot-programming lessons from Dr. Wily.

Awesome episode.

However, its explained somewhere that Gero used #19 to turn himself into an android. As in he instructed #19 in how to do it and ordered him to do it.

Yeah, but we're mostly making a joke at the expense of OUR Gero; not the actual DragonBall's Gero.

"Grand Central of disappointment" Maybe because I'm from New York, this joke was a lot funnier to me than it should be.

Is it bad that a friend of mine follows Dragon Ball only through the abridged series? I know it annoys the hell out of me.

Yeah that's bothersome. He doesn't even understand why 50% of the jokes are even funny if he doesn't follow the official release. And forget all the references and inside jokes to the manga, or the movies.

Me too. Beeping is hilarious.

I'm anti-censorship, except when it makes it funnier. Vegeta's BLEEP-filled rant on Namek wouldn't be funny at all if it was just a stream of swearing. I hope TFS eases up on saying shit everywhere.

Amazing work by TFS as usual, hilarious callbacks, the voice work is top-notch, and the best parts were the mythology gags like Cell and Android 13. Can't wait to see the movie Androids!

:lolno: . There are parody. Not official. Honestly there voices are made to be parody voices. You can look at me seriously and say TFS's Goku and Gohan can fit the official series
TFS Goku if his voice was a little deeper and he wasn't as stupid yes I could see as an official dub. Gohan's voice as well doesn't seem that bad for a little kid but he's could be deeper as well and I don't see a problem.

I really like Masakox's take on Goku. It reminds me so much of Goku's personality in dragonball when he was a kid. I've gotten so used to his voice, now every time I watch an english dub, Goku sounds funny.

I wonder if he's gonna make Gohan sound older this season?

The only version of the Dragon Ball anime I follow nowadays is this show. For actual Dragon Ball I read the manga. So, its doesn't seem that strange to me.

No...it would't. I just tried it out by making it slightly deeper, deeper, and even higher pitched(Want to hear it? I'll upload it on Youtube around 5PM EST) . Would't work that well to be honest. Gohan voice would not fit with the official dub. These voices are good for parody not official dubs. The only voice I can see being used in real dubs are

Cooler TFS Voice
17 and 18...kinda
Freeza
Yamcha's new voice

I've seen (well, heard) MasakoX in a couple serious fandubs and, quite frankly, it sounded terrible in my opinion. For parody he's wonderful, for a proper performance, not so much.
