First Impressions:
Goku actor's line delivery is extremely wooden.
Not surprised they used the Hope of the Universe speech.
The audio on the scream was too fucking loud and made my ears hurt.

Overall:
Looks even worse then the first trailer.

After how the first one turned out I'm suprised there's still interest in these. I'm guessing people opened their wallets for this one too? Sad...

Well that induced a full body cringe.

"I am the hop-"

No. Your mediocre VFX, shitty line delivery and use of Funimation's made up line is horrendous.

I've yet to see a single live action DBZ that is anywhere close to watchable.

What was up with the shot of Goku's hairs turning yellow? I think it was trying to make the trailer more dramatic but all it did was make me laugh at how awful the effect looked.

That was very bad to be honest. I normally don't hate on something until it's finish, but going how badly the last trailer turn out then I won't be surprise if the trailer for the next one sucks. Funny how fans want these guys to make a DBZ movie then they have no real experience on film making. While James Wong is a bad director and was a bad choice for DBE, but at least he has experience on film making. These guys seem to be known for special effects work and nothing else.

I can't imagine how they will pull off Cell and Buu since you can't do Cell and Buu without good make up effects or CG. These guys don't have the budget to pull off good CG work which is why they have CG effects that you see in Syfy movies and the TGWTG anniversary specials.

I think Cell and Buu should be done by motion capture. Knowing these guys budget, Freeza, Cell and Buu will look like cheap cosplays.

These trailers are definitely pandering to the FUNimation dub fans, but the actors delivery of that line isn't the best. Plus, the special effects, while alright, are too heavy IMO. Still, these guys must be doing something right, since last I checked, the comments were loaded with praise.

It started with the "I am the hope of the Universe" speech?

Nope. I've had it. Done. There is clearly no-one who will make a competent Dragon Ball Z movie.

Methnks the people who still think highly of FUNimation's Season Three dub really need to let go of their nostalgia. I know someone will barge in with "opinions, man!", but... c'mon!

You guys are way too picky, I mean like WAY too picky.

The Saiyan trailer was good, not amazing but good nonetheless.

Do you mean we are nitpicking this teaser or the Saiyan Saga trailer?

If you mean the Frieza Saga trailer, then I disagree. Most of our complaints are that we don't like that they used the Hope of the Universe speech (which took up most of trailer). We already don't like that speech so of course we aren't going to like that they included it. I don't see how we are nitpicking.

It's nitpicking because that's almost EVERYONE'S complaint. I personally give no fucks about the dialogue considering what this entire project is. There's more than dialogue here representing this moment in Dragon Ball. I mean no one complained about how out of place "Goku" looked in the background, or how muted his voice sounded, or how fake his iris looked... just OMG OLD DUB LINE.

To be fair almost the whole trailer was that line. If there was more in it then I'm sure there would be more diverse complaints.

I dunno why I bothered to click and watch this. It's Christmas. I shouldn't do things like this to myself on the holidays. I shouldn't feel the need for liquor right now. And yet, I did and I do.

I can't speak for everyone (of the dub fans) of course, and Season Three is where I have the most problems with the dub too, but...wow. For what it's worth, I don't hate the 'hope of the universe' speech. I don't. It's corny and it's not Goku, but it actually bothers me far less than Goku's 'my heart remembers' bullshit in the 23rd Budokai in DB's dub. And while Schemmel was just barely getting his start when he did the speech, it at least sounds better than...than THIS. Dear god. A line like that you have to go all out on, but this sounds like they're trying to be all dark and edgy with it, and that just makes it all the worse.

And I can't be the only one that saw the hair follicle thing and their brain went right back to the slow motion sweat drop in Evolution.

In all seriousness, whatever happened to that 'Runaways' thing? I'd much rather see more of that than more of this.

Ugh...considering I tried watching that movie earlier today and couldn't even make it half-way in, I really, really hope we can get a better Dragon Ball movie than that eventually. :P
