And there we have it. Despite the fact in the supposed hundreds of posts i have made on ANN, never once did he read the ones where I mention specific about being an Australian anime fan, commenting on Madman Entertainment, or saying how I have seen screenings of a Subtitled Print of Princess Mononoke at Electric Shadows in Canberra, ACT, Australia.Question 1. "This is utter bullshit. Why the fuck would Gen Fukunaga talk to you?"
Answer- He wouldn't... at least not knowingly. However, he does post anonymously online.
Sometime ago I got an e-mail from someone telling me that they thought that "StevenTheEunuch" was actually Gen Fukunaga. I didn't believe it at first, but looked it up- his posts at the Funimation official boards and at Anime News Network. I learned some interesting things about this Steven guy...
1. He spent almost a year at the Funimation boards basically defending Funimation nonstop.
2. He is heavily pro-Funimation, and it's his favorite company.
3. He seems to know a lot of "inside info" on Funimation.
4. He pretty much knows perfect Japanese.
5. He repeats and uses many of Funimation's most common arguments and defenses.
6. Throughout 100's of posts, not once has a negative post at Funimation escaped his keyboard.
7. He is highly pro-4Kids.
8. He seems to strongly dislike dbzoa, making fun of them and attacking them fairly frequently.
9. He even admitted who he was when I called him out.
10. Look at my editorial before the Naruto one- it was made in response to his comments.
And there you go. Look him up if you really don't believe me. Even if he isn't Gen Fukunaga or isn't connected with Funimation, these are quite a number of "strange coincidences", wouldn't you agree?
Infact, I'll rebuttal those statements he's made about me, as I figure, why the hell not?
1a. I have been a member at the FUNimation boards for over a year, this is correct. However, I have only posted for around.. I dunno, two-three weeks? It's a festering shithole, and besides, I had better things to do with my time
2a. If heavily Pro-FUNimation means not bitching at them at every stop, then hey, the label fits the can I geuss. Also, same thing about it being my favourite company, which I don't beleive I've ever said (My favourite Company is actually Bandai Entertainment).
3a. Inside info? Like what? That I have a vague idea on how the industry works? What I stated was information anyone with a hint of common sense would of worked out.
4a. Since when did I know perfect Japanese? I can only assume he can assume this from the times I've had a spack at people for speaking "Pidgeon Japanese (IE U R A Baka)". Another thing is I know where to buy R2 DVDs. Then I geuss the entire residence of the AoD forums know perfect Japanese- oh wait, no, they don't.
5a. Reason for doing this? I gave up half way when I realised he wasn't joking. Listen, pal, the reason why DBZ could of done those sorts of things in other countries is because they're either
1. used to Animated programs of that kind
2. really, didn't have a whole lot else to work from
God forbid a company changes something so it appeals. And no, your statement of "Please your 5% hardcore fans, and you please your 95% normal fans" is a total lie. American kids would not of sat through synthesized Jpop for a minute and a half, in either their own language (which was sung rather funnily), or in Japanese (and we all know how kids react to subtitles). You COUD argue that this isn't true, that kids might of liked it. They could of taken that risk, kept monolouge scores, massive breaks with no dialouge, kept Mr Satan normally, and what not, but if this only appeal to said "hard core" fans and not everyone else, FUNimaiton would be out of Business. I mean, despite Fukugana's "relatives" in Toei, they would not of looked kindly apon a company that fails to get Dragonball Z into a rail-way success. But going on..
6a. Refer back to my first paragraph. If you had of read my hundreds of posts, you would of seen that I was actually Australian. Actually wait, I lie, I lived in England for three years of my life, also I bought the GBA games of Pokemon and enjoyed them. Maybe I'm Al Khan, a person you insist is "probably a pedophile". Great way to run an appeal for thing syou want, champ.
7a. Highly Pro 4kids means not whinging and bitching about how shows I dont really like being redone for maximised profits. I supposed if I happen to tell people to calm down, then I'm a complete pacifist then aye?
8a. This holds a bit of truth, but infact I don't dislike the DBZOA. I just think that they're stuck in 1997, and lay outrageous claims to stuff they didn't really do. It's good to read really, because its funny. But the original statement stems from when I submitted a fair few "choice" quotes of posts by one of their forum members, "asaqe/gyrobot". They were then put onto Somethingawful's Weekend Web, and made fun of by SpokkerJones. This went for three weeks straight (every sunday), simply because they were poorley constructed rants no one cared about, and he didnt use full stops nor commas. Thats all for that.
9a. Are you thirteen? Since when did I admit I was Gen Fukunaga? SINCE WHEN. Of course, I might of done that, but I honestly cant remember. Either way, I'm not.

Also, I know you lurk these forums. I'm not sure if you have an acount or not, but I can damn well say if you don't, then you'll be registering one soon. Or if you have one, typing up a witty reply on how foolish and close minded I am. Grow up, and don't. You don't realise how much of a joke you are do you? Your rants about taking illicit drugs, to your suspicions on Al Khan being a Pedophile, to that fact you whinge and bitch about every single thing ever, make you somewhat of a clown. To assume that someone from Toei emailed you (which as we can see, may not of been the case, because despite name and all, you're still not proving who he is, his email address, or anything like that. Wouldnt be so bad if you were speculating, but you're taking this as cold, hard fact), and then Gen Fukunaga personally telling you things, accident or not, just shows you're a over-reacting, self centered ring-jerker who thinks way too much of yourself.
Hopefully one day you'll grow up. Also another thing, activley promoting copyright-violating material on your site to a company you're trying to appeal to (I'm geussing, not sure what the fuck you're doing now) is never a good idea, because in the instance they even make it to your sight and aren't repulsed by your high obnoxious writing style, they're just going to see some squirt, behind a keyboard, supporting theft. Ever considered they might NOT want to do subtitled releases because YOU'VE already saturated any possible market? of course, there would be a market for uncut Naruto or whatever, but you're only proving you're irresponsible.
