Meh. Even if the story mode sounds exciting, story modes for crossover games like this tend to be short and make no sense, so my expectations are low for that.

Even so, I always prefer some kind of story mode or something in these games, so this has me even more excited. If it turns out to be something even half as cool as the Subspace Emissary for Brawl was, I'll be a happy camper.

The story mode has got me pretty interested. Although it's all in Japanese, so I'd have no idea what's going on while playing it.
I'm re-watching Dragon Ball GT in full on my blog. Check it out if you're interested in my thoughts on the series as I watch through it!

Actually, Medaka and Kumagawa would put a good fight on him.
Medaka can learn any ability that she sees or hears about. She could use any ability of his former enemies against Goku. Heck, she could use Goku's abilities against him.
Kumagawa, in turn, can seal away any enemy with his secondary ability, or make the the enemy cease to exist altogether with his primary ability.
Sorry, I can't speak English very well, but I'm trying my best.

You mean you've seen/read all of the anime/manga that are featured in the game and know for a fact that Goku is stronger than everyone there? Because if Arale manages to get there, then she would have everyone 1-hit-KO, including Gok- no, SS4 Gogeta & Whis teamed up against her...

Does it even matter at all who is stronger than who when it comes to a fighting game, I mean...seriously? Just with DBZ alone, you can beat the crap out of SS4 Gogeta with Mr. Satan if you try hard enough. On the hardest difficulty setting. It's unlikely but it's possible, because power levels mean even less in a game than they do anywhere else - and that's saying a lot.

Kenshin beats everybody else with his pure badassery. Even if he loses. Just saying.

Medaka beats everyone. Also, One Punch Man is now officially a Jump character. If he ever made it to the game, IT'S OVER!!!

Considering that it would be one giant clusterfuck, you probably won't be able to understand it even if it was in English :P

My sweet Arale-chan is insanely strong so the enemies wouldn't have any chance of winning the battle. :P

Not sure if anyone had the same idea but, I'd really like to see one extra outfit for the characters. Like Goku's blue outfit from the end of dragon ball when he first met Oob. And Tsuna's school uniform. (I could think of many others but not sure what would be appropriate for Naruto and Ichigo)

That trailer is old. At least speaking internet time :P So I'm not sure more characters will be revealed.

It'd be cool if the characters could wear the outfits from the other characters' series, imo

Ichigo has a million alternate outfits he could wear. If you want to keep it in the realm of in-universe, there's his high school uniform, his current Bankai form, his current Shikai form(it's slightly weird this isn't his default look in the game, but the original Bankai is the most inconic), his unreleased Soul Reaper form, his original Shikai form, his his street clothes from the Lost Agent arc, his psuedo-Fullbring, his fully realized Fullbring Super Sentai outfit, his post-Bankai training outfit... or even Fully Hollowized Ichigo. I wonder if that's a transformation he can undergo...

I can't imagine what kind of mess that Story Mode will be. I'm anticipating it.

I'm honestly kind of hoping for something that is it's own thing, and the characters are just who they are, rather than something that's literally saying they've been pulled in from different universes or something - because there's no way that wouldn't be a huge clusterfuck.

For example, just say that Goku is a goofy hungry guy that loves to fight, and Vegeta hates him. Have their dynamic be the entire point of their inclusion in the story, rather than 'oh he's a Saiyan from Earth, and he's the Prince, and this is their long detailed history yadda yadda yadda' would probably be best here.
