So just curious, do you guys order weekly/monthly jump from japan or get the digital version. Just was curious if there was a way to cut back on shipping and get a yearly subscription for monthly or not.

I get mysterious surprise packages from Julian every few weeks/months. Sometimes they're in a box, and sometimes it's just bags within bags with magazines. That's my answer.

Fairly certain Shueisha's digital push isn't as good as Viz's. Their digital releases aren't weekly like we were hoping, and only come with certain monumental/anniversary/whatever issues. You can't really keep up that way.

If you're interested in what Viz is translating, and you're in a country that they publish in, you can very easily keep up with certain series translated into English.

I'm subscribed to Viz's Weekly Shonen Jump, and I've really enjoyed it. My first year is about up, and I'm going to resubscribe soon.

It's got a good list of stuff. Some stuff from Japan's Weekly Shonen Jump, some stuff from other places (Like One-Punch Man from one of Shueisha's digital things, and Full Color Dragon Ball, from those volumes they put out early last year).

It's worth it in my mind. Can't read Japanese, so their Jump isn't for me (I might import specific series' volumes, like I did with Saint Seiya: Next Dimension's first volume, but not a random assortment that comes out weekly, that's too much for me to keep up with in importing).
