I'm excited for the story mode. Even if its crap, I just wanna see these characters interact. That was my favorite part of the DBZ X Toriko X One Piece crossover.

I wonder if there will be some sort of rival system, like in Street Fighter X Tekken. Maybe Ichigo and Kenshin will have a special interaction, maybe Naruto and Luffy will have one, its gonna be real interesting to see how they communicate.

Looks good.

Can't wait until the game possibly gets released here in Europe. The only reason I am pretty much buying this game is because of Yuusuke, Gon, Kenshin Himura and Gintoki Sakata.

I have to imagine this is already a licensing nightmare in Japan, I'd hate to think what trouble international releases will have. If I were you, I'd hold my breath on a domestic release.

I would love to be proven wrong though.

I've been thinking about getting this for PS3, but since I'm leaving for college, maybe getting a Vita wouldn't be a bad idea. In terms of graphics and power, how is the Vita? I've seen gameplay of this game in trailers, and it doesn't look bad.
An interviewer asks, "The soundtrack in Sonic 3 has become legendary. Is it true that you worked with Michael Jackson on it?" Takashi Iizuka kills all of our hopes and dreams by replying, "You know, those are just rumors, and SEGA does not want to say anything about them. So they will forever be just rumors..." WHY!?

I'm hoping they'll release a demo because the customs would probably hit me hard if I imported the game.

I jumped through a variety of hoops to get the AR app on my Vita, and something unexpected appeared:

I suppose it remains to be seen if they just developed this app, or the full game too.

This game proves to me that with the right time and budget Spike can make a great Dbz game.

If things continue this way I'd almost be inclined to say that this is the smoking gun for Spike developing Zenkai, seeing as the two seem so similar (Visually, at least).

I've been finding myself surprising more excited for Battle of Z than J-Stars Victory Versus. I love Jump crossover games but, for a celebration of the 45th anniversary, it seems like an empty party...and shows a really small amount of the great Jump series from these 45 years...and a lot more support characters that aren't playable. I'm more excited about them being able to put Allen in the game, since D.Gray-Man is no longer a Shonen Jump series, than the game itself.

And now I find out that it might've been made by Spike.....Here's hoping it ends up being a good game, despite that.

If this game is made by Spike there better be like 30 more character reveals because we all know they're going to play the same.

This has always been my train of thought to begin with.

I never really expected for there to be much "depth" going on in the gameplay department anyway but I figure that the variety of characters they do have in there are so different that even if everyone played the same they would still feel different ala Smash Bros.

'Sides the fact the we can use Yusuke and Goku to punch the everlasting fuck outta Naruto, Ichigo and Luffy should more than make up for any lack of "depth" the gameplay might have.

Goku and Yusuke step up to Naruto, Ichigo and Luffy. Ichigo makes a joke about it being 3 on 3. Kenshin shows up next to Goku and Yusuke points at Ichigo and says
"I got this."

It doesn't prove anything. It's just a program and not a game.

However, if we were to go by your logic then every time we see something in a game or media then that means it's in development.

SHEN3 = Shenmue 3 is being produced!
HL3 files = Valve is working on Half Life 3!

Welp.. nope it's just fans getting their hopes up over something as trivial as a screen.

Once again you're just spouting out random video game talk. What does this have to do with the J-Stars Victory Vs app at all? You're not making any connection here. If you're not going to have any direct tie to the actual conversation at hand, please keep your gaming conversations to other/proper gaming communities.

I FUCKING KNEW IT! I knew Spike was behind this. I can tell from the Zenkai looking gameplay, to Goku animations, to the mouth movements and graphics. So this is why we ain't getting a RB3 or BT4 at this point huh? Okayyyyyy....
