I'm gonna try to get this stuff when I get my rich brother out of the poor house :P Nah..Jump Stars Victory VS, I may get Battle of Z, The boo saga of Kai if it comes to DVD/Blu-ray this year. I'm hoping to get the full colored manga, I may start buying the new Blu-rays that Funimation is releasing here in a couple months. I wont get in a big hurry because I'm going through the original Dragonball right now. The 1 thing I really REALLY! would like to get by the end of the year...And that's Dragon-box: The Movies. I want that in my collection so bad! :P
The Dragonboxes are like a middle aged woman who still looks good through simply taking good care of her skin and body with maybe a tiny bit of makeup while the Orange Bricks are like a middle aged woman who get's 50 tons of botox, makeup and plastic surgery in order to look younger and as a result looks even worse. ~ ringworm128

I was pretty annoyed when the whole Yamamoto thing went down with Kai, and it just flushed out a lot of interest I had in the show. But recently, I've been thinking of owning whatever parts have the bulk of the Ginyu Task Force on them; just to get more acquainted with the Japanese recasting on those characters. And Aya Hirano as Dende.

Pipe dream purchases I tell myself I'll buy but my wallet laughs in my face: Banpresto's upcoming Trunks and Lunch(and Arale) figures, the Kanzenban, English DBOX 5-7, FUNimation's "Fusion Saga" singles, and the FUNimation singles for Movies 5, 6, and 12.

I can't remember if we ever got upset/cared about the Dragon Ball Movie 4-Pack. I vaguely remember a review of Legend of Shenron on the site commenting on the footage. I've only ever seen the dubs for the first and anniversary films, and nothing for Movies 2 and 3. I'm not in a rush for those, but it'd be nice to have them in decent quality.

A few things:

- Blue Bricks
- Z movie packs
- Budokai Tenkaichi 3 for PS2
- Daizenshuu volumes. I have Illustrations and volume 10
- BoG, not a priority but I must have and watch it eventually.
- Another wall scroll from my local 3D games
- Z viz bigs

All I can think of at the moment. I got the itch to re-watch DBZ this year, but I want to watch DB first, as well as the Z movies between the episodes that they were released during Z`s run in Japan. I know that info can be found here so I'll be set to watch EVERYTHING accordingly. It will be my first time marathoning literally all of Dragon Ball. All 3 series, all movies (minus BoG), and all specials!

I'll probably pick up BoG after I watch everything. I'll pick up Kai on blu-ray once I get a PS4, so it might have to wait till next year lol.

I have the DVD, but the Blu-ray will probably have the same issues.

- All the volumes of the "Viz Big" editions of DBZ
- Battle of Z for 360
- Jumps Stars Victory Vs. for PS3
- Possibly the full color books (might wait down the road for these)
- All the movie packs released in recent years (waiting for the next sale)
- The Young Goku statue from the Kai line (drinking water)
- Battle of Gods (if Funi gets it)
- Buu saga of Kai (if released)

Hope I have the funds for it. :x

I still need to buy DBGT, but I still don't know whether to choose the green brick (the complete collection) or the singles. Both options lack something - the green brick doesn't have NEPs and Japanese title cards, and the singles don't have the English dub with Tokunaga score.

Other than that, the TV specials - both about Bardock and Trunks. I'll get the 4:3 FUNi singles.

Now, if it comes to stuff that hasn't been released, but may see the light of day, I would buy the Buu saga of Kai and the U.S. Dragon Boxes for the other series and movies in a heartbeat.

Personally speaking I never watch anime dubbed in English, before hitting play I always change the audio track to Japanese with English subs for all and even though it would've been nice to have had the Eng dub with Tokunaga's BGM it doesn't matter for me anyway.

If the Buu arc of Kai has crappy PQ for an HD series then they shouldn't be wasting BDs for it but hopefully Toei Animation will try to do a better job than they did for Androids/Cell arcs in Kai.

By the way, good thinking about the Bardock & Trunks TV Specials, I haven't fully seen them just bits and pieces so I'll see about purchasing the 4x3 AR DVDs.
FUNimation 2015 Releases I want:
- Kai 2.0 on Blu-ray

I happen to be watching Curse of the Blood Rubies right now from that pack. Picture-wise, the film grain is intact and the picture seems pretty sharp. It also isn't cropped. However I don't have any other source to say for sure if any details are missing or if the colours have been altered.
The intro is noticeably pixelated compared to the rest of the movie; at first I thought I might have messed with some settings on my blu-ray player by mistake, but when I got to the actual movie it looked fine. Did FUNimation add the intro into the movie or something?

Dub-wise...ehh. I don't think Clinkenbeard pulls off Goku as well as Nadolny (although her voice is closer to Nozawa's); plus the script is still overly-rewritten. Also, because Curse of the Blood Rubies is the only movie that was redubbed, all 4 of the movies have a different voice cast (the dub of movie 2 is especially terrible in casting and acting). But if you're watching in Japanese I suppose that's irrelevant.
The Japanese audio quality is pretty much par for the course; serviceable but definitely muffled.

EDIT: Went ahead and watched them all tonight. Movie 2 has some noticeable choppiness during large panning shots. Didn't notice anything wrong with Movie 3. Oddly, Movie 4 has a blue tint but only in a few shots. Still, they look pretty good for the most part.

I plan on getting the rest of kai because the rest of the dragon boxes are hard and too expensive to get.

I plan on buying the upcoming colored editions for the Dragon Ball Z manga. I own random volumes and Viz Bigs so I've never completed buying the manga in any form, so that's the goal. I'd welcome more Dragon Box releases and material that hasn't been released like Battle of Gods or specials. Kind of tempted to get the DBGT singles for the next episode previews. I own one of the old box sets and those are pretty fun to watch. Wouldn't mind having them. And who knows maybe a few little things here and there. :)

I wouldn't mention it if it didn't have any value to me :) I like to watch the show with the English dub too sometimes, but not without the original Japanese music score. The price is also something to consider. The green brick is cheaper.

I also forgot to mention the Dragon Ball movies (the first series). I'll get the older box with the three movies and the remastered movie 1 (I would just buy the newest complete collection, but the framerate issue in movie 2 would bother me too much).

My updated list and probably what I'm going to stick for, in terms of DB purchases:

* Dragon Ball: Collection Part 2 (this has a heavy price being imported from AUS but it's like 69 episodes bundled altogether)
* Dragon Ball: Full Colour - Vol. 02 & 03 on pre-order (Hopefully they'll release all as they'll be doing in Japan)
* Dragon Ball Z: Big Green Dub DVDs 1-11
* Dragon Ball Z: Shin Budokai 2 (the only DB game on PSP I'm missing)
* Dragon Ball Z: Tree of Might (UUE edition DVD -- hard to find for sale separately)
* Dragon Ball Z: Cooler's Revenge (Single DVD)
* Dragon Ball Z: Fusion Reborn (Single DVD)
* Dragon Ball Z: Laserdiscs (I plan on at least getting one for my collection although temptation might make me buy more than one)

I've decided to put others on pending (DBZ Season BDs, Battle of Z, Battle of Gods).

I don't think I have an LD player anywhere so that'll be another thing to buy when I have some LDs.
FUNimation 2015 Releases I want:
- Kai 2.0 on Blu-ray

Mostly I plan to buy some of the colored manga and whatever domestic release the Buu of Kai gets, if at all.

But I don't have a lot of money right now, no work, so it's all very low priority.

If I suddenly have some sort of income providing extra cash to blow on DB stuff... then my top priorities will be collecting the rest of the DB blue brick DVD sets and finally the Cell arc of Kai, especially if the latter will continue with the Boo arc sometime this year.

The Z-RAY seasons monthly, the coloured manga monthly, the battle of Z when it hits the bargain bin.
Should be a cheap year for DragonBall purchases.

I want to complete my Kanzenban collection. I don't have money right now, so I'll just set a small goal for myself one step at a time. One day though, I really want to buy the complete music collection box! That's like my dream DB item :D
