John Kerry is too much of a mystery for me to really comment on, however as far as Bush goes:

Anytime he speaks on gay marriage, I find it to be rather offensive. The way he speaks, it's coming off to me as if he thinks that homosexuals are a lesser people. He seems so.... arrogant in his delivery whenever he talks of the subject that it's offensive.

Almost like he's saying "we have to protect marriage from those dirty homosexuals" or something along those lines.

I agree with ya. It's so.. disgusting. Honestly, isn't America the land of the free? And yet we have so many conversative thoughts and the like..

You mean he wants to become immortal, rule the universe, and only occasionally kills large numbers of people?

On the other hand...

Political conversation! Yay. The glue that holds every message board together with LOVE!

Aww... I really loathe poliktikal views. I really do. Rename this topic "ATTN ZACKAROTTO! DON'T GO HERE!" And I'll be sure not to. Heh heh.

Homestar Runner: Please share with us your poliktikal views.

Hehehe... I love that site.

Hmm, Polictikal might be a better spelling. Yeah, I'll use that. I just have to have a K in there. For no real reason.

So what you`re saying is, America should be free...just so long as there are no Conservatives. Hmmm

Did you read what I said? It can be applied to several occasions of him speaking on gay marriage in the past couple months, he seems to speak in such an arrogant, perhaps even somewhat boastful (of his own power) manner that he makes it perfectly clear how he feels.

It doesen't apply to any specific quote, it applies to how he carries himself when speaking on the subject.

President Bush supports a Constitutional amendment banning "gay marriage". Since there isn't a legitimate social or economic reason for taking that position, it must be a moral issue. Moral opposition to gay marriage implies that the President perceives homosexuality as wrong and consequentially intolerable in American society.

I don't know if he ever stated it directly, but it's clear that Bush doesn't have much respect for homosexuals or acceptance of their sexual orientation -- otherwise he wouldn't be actively opposing gay marriages, right?

well i think kerry is shady because he has taken a lot of soft money, and has taken semi ambiguose stances on some legilation in the senate, like nafta for example, also he seemed to go along with the iraq band wagon, but he did say he wanted the war conducted with more responsible conditions. he and bush are also members of the scull and bones society, and elitiest, psudeo santnic cult.

but he is qualified, he's had 20 + years as a legislator, and was involved in both foriegn and domestic policy. he does have practical and level headed legilation, like stoping the regonomics tax cuts that are driving up our deficit and meriting no real job growth, only taken the economy into economic retraction. he also wants to stop incentives for big companies to export jobs to third world countries and put incentives for companies to stay here. he also wants to internationalize iraq eg. creating a real collition that shares spoils and responsibility.

bush, well he's basicly a face and a name slaped on to a gop dream pupet regiem. all his ex cabinet member substaniate this. paul oneil stated that that durring cabinet meetings bush was like a bilnd man in a room full of deaf people. also all you have to do is see someone like rice or rumsfeld talk comandingly about administration policy, then see bush muddle his way through a press conference or a statment.

i dont mean to offend anyone i was a john mccain/wes clark supporter.

but did anyone check out my links? my work has a ways to go but i'd like 2 share it.

ps. sorry for the lack of capitalization, i'm kinda in a hurry. [/quote]

and now you know why I didn't say more than I disagree...

Because uh, no one is going to change anyones mind on any of this - and to call someone stupid because you disagree with them always comes off immature to me.

I second the call for lock before this becomes a flame war.

Thats true, well, a quote i like is: If theres a lot of people at the dinner table and you wanna stay friends, theres two things you shouldint bring up and thats religion and politics

I thought it was funny to have them placed in that sort of position. I remember down at this other board there was this gif that everyone loved and it was Vegeta interviewing a bunch of characters to run for president. I'll play it out for ya:

Vegeta: Welcome to the election, our first candidate is Yojirobee

Yojirobee: *mouth stuffed* Hi!

Vegeta: What will you plan to do about the breast cancer being un-treated in our hospitals?

Yajirobee: Chicken breasts? Mmmm..

Vegeta: Er..well, our next candidate is Kakarott

Goku: Where is the food?

Vegeta: Goku, this is an election

Goku: Oh, we've started?

Vegeta: As you can see, he is an idiot but vote for em anyway

Goku: Hey!

Vegeta: Our final candidate is Bulma

*a picture of Bulma appears*

Vegeta: She is not here at the moment but she's smart, talented and *couch* hot *cough* so you should vote for her....and if you dont i'll blow you to pieces

The only political comic I've ever enjoyed was this one.
