Can anyone 100% confirm that Kid Vegeta, Young Nappa, Kid Pan, and the Pirate Robot are playable? Oh and is Kurieza gonna be in the game? I'd love that

Also I'm willing to bet I'm in the minority here...but Dragon Ball Evolution Piccolo should be a character simply cause he looks badass. Oh and Freeza's fourth form as Krillin imagined it. And I love all the what ifs in the game but I think it's overkill to give characters like GT Goten and GT Trunks SS3 no?
As stated by others, just keep checking TheDevilsCorpse database for visual proof and you can check my database (on my signature) for the character list. I update it every time a new character is announced and I strive to get them correctly tagged according to what the game calls them. The forms between brackets *[]* are the only ones which I can't confirm officially and they are there simply for reference.

As said, all those are 100% confirmed. Kuriza most likely is one of the secret cards of this set with a 99.9% confirmation, unless they pull something incredibly wacky.
Trunks: GT Super Saiyan 3 is already in, you can confirm it yourself. Goten: GT hasn't got it as of yet.

For Dragon Ball Evolution characters, I highly doubt they will ever be in in any form. And Freeza's imaginary fourth form... It's anyone's guess! They keep throwing us curved balls all the time so you never really know, I wouldn't be too surprised if it appeared at some point. I mean, it didn't seem they were going to cover Dragon Ball at all but here we are. Zarbon was left without his monster form for the longest time and Kuriza missed the family meeting 3 or 4 times already.

If anyone is interested, I keep two files for missing relevant characters, one is for characters that already have a model in this engine from previous games, the other is for characters without models. I keep them private because I don't want to start another wish list discussions, as I've said many, many times, they are not wish lists at all, as my true wish list would be quite short at this point. They're simply predictions and reference lists for characters or forms who for some reason haven't been included yet.

GT Trunks is sadly the only one with SSj3 and not Goten. I guess Trunks is more popular then Goten which is why he has a SSj3 transformation.

If GT Trunks is more popular than GT Goten I will be shocked.

My guess is that since they already had the models for SS3 Future Trunks & SS GT Trunks, they just placed SS3 Future Trunks' head on SS GT Trunks' body, and made a new Super Saiyan 3. Because why not?

Why? Trunks was a main character and Goten was basically a side character.

You have no idea how 3D modelling works. I don't think it's as simple as copy and pasting it.

Depending on how complicated of a frame they are using and how they have their files set up, I guess they actually could have just replaced the texture files for Future Trunks' SS3 form with the ones from GT Trunks for everything but the head and hair. Fans do similar things all the time with their mods...

Minor tangent, but there is some minor news that may potentially be related to Heroes, but for now, it fits better in different topic. So here is a link to it.

It's as simple as that, if you make a 3D head and you want it to be consistent with all the "bodies" it can have, you just reuse it over and over. Recycling is something very common in 3D modelinganimating as well as programming.

Well maybe in Japan GT Trunks was popular, I know that on a couple of Dragonball boards and on youtube whenever I hear about GT Trunks he is not well liked due to not being as cool as Future Trunks.

Trunks GT not being as liked as Trunks Future is a thing, but I don't see how Goten GT comes into that equation. And YouTube discussions should not be brought up as an example of anything, unless they are as an example of the extreme foulness that the human soul can reach.

I was thinking since all I ever here about GT Trunks is the hate the character gets and I know GT Goten was big during the Tenkaichi 3 days I figured GT Goten was more popular.

Well, probably because there is no point of comparison with Goten, you've got the one Goten and that's it. Since we were shown such a badass, brooding, albeit kinda dumb version of Trunks; this normal, soft, more responsible version pales in comparison, even though it makes sense that he is like he is.

Once again, the blame is on how the character was written within the show, there was never a time for him to truly shine, he is not the strongest, I doubt he even is as strong as his other version by the same age, but he is much more intelligent, responsible and productive. At least in my opinion.

People are always impatient. Been saying for pages now that the SECs wouldn't be officially revealed till the 16th in Japan. If we're lucky they may get leaked the day before, but never count on that and just be thankful if they do.

This time, instead of the cards, we had some leaks overnight of people finding the updated advertisements on the Heroes' arcade machine in preparation for JM2. Original assumptions were indeed correct and we are looking at the inclusion of Kurieza and Super Saiyan 2 Bardock. The first looks hideous when not drawn in Toriyama's Neko Majin Z style (also, they went with red/maroon/whatever over Toriyama's purple), and the second is such a waste of creativity that they literally just added red lightning to Super Saiyan Bardock. Hopefully their game models look a little better, but I imagine Kurieza's will be overly tall like in Budokai 2, and...well I'm just hoping they bothered to change Bardock's in-game hair a bit. I mean, It's Goku's, so it should do the same thing...

I'm willing to bet we get Super Saiyan 3 Bardock before the end of the year. I'm surprised Gohan and Goten haven't been given their Super Saiyan 3 freebies yet, but I imagine it's only a matter of time.

That's when the Super Saiyan 4 handouts will begin...

*sigh*
Super Saiyan 2 sure needs more love but Bardock doesn't. Is it too late for them to go back and add the already existing models of Trunks: Future and Gohan: Future Super Saiyan 2?

As for Kuriza, he does look weird... I'm glad they started from base, it kinda looked they were going to jump straight to final form.
