If they gonna make one, they should keep it one level no powerups that destroyes the anime itself.
Going to fast with the powerups, just give me action ssj1 action.
Make Goku god mode go powerup with ssj2 and 3 and leave it we don't need new transformations to keep a show running i want Action!.

And they should not use the animation style of Kami to Kami don't like it

Personally if the series does get a reanimation, Id rather they not use the Kai opening animation, Ultimate Tenkaichi cutscene animation, or Battle of Gods's animation.

Id want Budokai 2/3 into animation

Honestly, if/when Kai Buu does replace Toriko in the Spring, I wouldn't be surprised if instead of Toriko returning we get a new Dragon Ball anime directly after Kai. That or a new movie.
GT isn't bad, just sucks ass in comparison to the other 2 animes.

I thought the Buu ark was not airing in Japan, but again no buu ark was ever confirmed either.

Most of Kai's eye catches looked terrible and were just as bad as the Hachyiack Movie remake....

However, I think the first few seconds of the Ultimate Tenkaichi opening has the BEST model renders modern DBZ animation has ever had. Just the colouring to me is perfect. 20% darker colours / 70% shaded clothing and detail / 10% ugly white highlights The proper balance immo.

The detail they used actually looks a lor deeper than even the BoG movie's animation which at times was inconsistant with it.
SSJ3 Goku vs Bills had detail... but after that, everything was plain and plasticy like EoB.

If that's all you want, then all you want is fanservice, rather than an actual coherent story. And of course those aren't mutually exclusive; you could have a coherent story with "shine" moments! But if a story is perfectly coherent (and I'm really not seeing any compelling arguments that this one is anything but, despite constantly recurring, really poorly reasoned, attempts to argue otherwise), and you're bemoaning the lack of "shine" moments as a reason for the story's poor quality, then you're letting your thirst for "shine" moments obfuscate your ability to detect basic storytelling when it's right in front of you.

You mean we have a cheap edit of DBZ with new audio? And that because of it there's no need for an actual, real and well-made remake of Dragon Ball? Hmm, can't agree with you there.
It would be nice, but I don't think we will get one anytime soon. People would think it's too similar to Kai and we already seen the same story so many times. Why not give us something new for once?

The issue is Toei is not gonna give DBZ a reanimation on par with the Budokai 2/3 into or Ultimate Tenkaichi intro for a very long time if not at all. It will likely take 10 years at the least.

Another solution would be giving the franchise to a studio like BONES, Gainax, or Production I.G. but again, Toei would never sell Dragonball. For now the series is in a limbo of low budget remasters and the occasional movie/special.

A live action DBZ TV show could work. It would be neat to see a DBZ toku show and I think Tsuburaya Productions would be my choice to make a DBZ show. They are better at special effects then Toei is in my opinion.
