Re: "Dragon Ball Heroes" On-Going Discussion Thread
I don't think there was ever anything to worry about. The initial silhouette of Kurieza had the battle jacket pad behind his hand...even though that wasn't the art they decided to use for the card, yet Bardock's is. That's a little strange. This means that we have to wait at least another set for Kurieza's true form to be playable, so perhaps Majin Buu and Neko Majin Z themed JM3 isn't that far of a stretch?

That sounds fun, maybe we'll see Yakon or... The Kaioshins..?TheDevilsCorpse wrote:This means that we have to wait at least another set for Kurieza's true form to be playable, so perhaps Majin Buu and Neko Majin Z themed JM3 isn't that far of a stretch?

Is it confirmed that this is Super Saiyan 2 Bardock?

But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.
Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

Yeah. The text underneath him says "Bardock Super Saiyan 2".DBZGTKOSDH wrote:Is it confirmed that this is Super Saiyan 2 Bardock?
Re: "Dragon Ball Heroes" On-Going Discussion Thread
LOL he's only SSj1 in that pic. They only colored some red sparks around his picture...
If they call this SSj2 then fans are going to keep getting even more confused over Gohan/Vegeta debates... *sigh*

Yeah, and this isn't just them hiding his actual Super Saiyan 2 design while featuring Super Saiyan form art because the card in the image doesn't feature the transformation mechanic. So, unless they just have a really bad artist who had no idea what the character model for the form looked like, this is it. :/Ookalf wrote:Yeah. What else could it be?DBZGTKOSDH wrote:Is it confirmed that this is Super Saiyan 2 Bardock?
Honestly, Gohan: Boy is the only noticeable Super Saiyan 2, all the other ones are very vague. And the more they add, the vaguer they get. Trunks: Future Super Saiyan 2 in the Budokai games was exactly the same model, for example.hulkty wrote:LOL he's only SSj1 in that pic. They only colored some red sparks around his picture...

I don't know, I was hoping that they weren't so lazy to make SS2 Bardock like this, and it's the first time we had seen a Super Saiyan with red sparks, so I had the hope that it was at least a new power-up.DNA wrote:What else could it be?
But it's very strange because, why didn't they give Bardock the already available SS2 Goku hair? And why did they choose red sparks instead of the usual blue? At least the red sparks look nice.

Can someone post the picture of Kuriza please? And just a wish but Prilin (or Piririn whatever) should be the next what if character. I love the way he looks and since he was drawn by Toriyama it sort of adds something special. I don't know how to post a pic on here but here's the link for those who've never seen him http://dragonball.wikia.com/wiki/Prilin

This makes me think Bardock's traveling through time and space, battling Freeza's relatives. (First Chilled, now Kuriza).
Re: "Dragon Ball Heroes" On-Going Discussion Thread
Why the long face, Kuriiza?
Oh well, ya win some, ya lose some.

Thanks, I actually like how he looks a little brooding and bratty but not particularly evil, as he was in Nekomajin. I hope Z ends up in the game as well.

That's fine and all, but his head is just really, abnormally huge. Even for trying to adapt him more from Neko Majin's art style into the Dragon Ball style. Just squishing it a bit would have made him look much better and closer to his father, in that piece at least. I'm hoping future art of him doesn't continue the horse face trend.

All we need now is a LSSJ2 Broly and there will be a influx of I love SSJ2 fans. Give GT Goten SSJ3 and then give GT Gohan Ultimate or SSJ4 and be done.
Re: "Dragon Ball Heroes" On-Going Discussion Thread
We really don't need any of that, to be quite honest.miguelnuva1 wrote:All we need now is a LSSJ2 Broly and there will be a influx of I love SSJ2 fans. Give GT Goten SSJ3 and then give GT Gohan Ultimate or SSJ4 and be done.

SSJ2 Bardock is HORRIBLE
Some artists/designers should be fired, they are very lazy to work in this game

Not really a fan of the red/orange lightening. The original blue lightening would look monumentally better.

Re: "Dragon Ball Heroes" On-Going Discussion Thread
Well, here are clear leaks of the cards. Bad news for most of us though, because Super Saiyan 2 Bardock's team icon features the same hair design as his Super Saiyan form does in the game. Pretty much promises that he won't have a more SS2 looking hairstyle.
