Flash Adventures?

Post by Zeke » Tue Jul 18, 2006 11:09 pm

It has come to my attention that I've become fond of flash shows of Dragonball Z and such. I've decided to start my own production of flash. I've also decided to start my own animated stick series based in the world of Dragonball. I've come up with three plots so far, and really, I'd like to stay clear of the main character's in the Dragonball universe for awhile...so I have to start with my own character's for a while and need some ideas on how they shall survive and things such as battles and such. At this point I'd like to do something different instead of lead it into a nutshell...like Dragonball Z (no offence, even tho it's my favorite anime.) Can you people please spare me some ideas for this series? And if anyone is thinking of why stick figures? It's just a start, after the stick series is done which should take somewhere along 4-6 months with over 40 episodes each being around 15-20 minutes I plan on an F.F. version (F.F. = Full Figure or F.B. = Full Body, F.C. = Full Cell). So throw something my way. :D

Yeah... But it seems that we try to leave fan material out of this site, or at least thats what it seems. Your idea sounds really cool, and I would LOVE to see some of it. But if everyone posted something like this...

There's been numerous thread in the past that were strictly fan material, and as far as I know, none of them were ever locked or frowned upon.
There's been cosplay threads, fanart and fancomic threads, fangame threads, and, heck, Sun Wukong has that Calendar thread RIGHT NOW.

As long as it's DragonBall-related.

Yes I don't know where you guys got that idea from.....

Yes it's true that Mike doesn't want to create boards just specifically for that because that's not the kind of DB forum he wants here, which is fine by me. There are plenty of DB sites that have those things, as well as sites that cater to specific fan works, such as FF.net for fanfics, DevianArt for fanart, and places like Newgrounds for flash cartoons.

However, that doesn't mean that there aren't threads allowed here to get feedback from other fans about a fan project you're working on. I'll be making topics concerning my ongoing DBZ cosplay project and Sun Wukong has been making threads about his DB Girls Pin-Up Calendar for weeks now.

So I say go ahead and let this thread be a place for you to get ideas. 8)
