I'm not going to debate the hair styles, but all of them in the Heroes game have yellow auras with (shitty, barely discernible) yellow sparks; even Bardock and the Avatars. It's the same for the Super Saiyan 3 characters too.
Hey that's my post!
So the Avatars do have sparks after all? I thought you said they didn't.
At least the yellow sparks fit with what we see in the colored manga.

But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.
Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

That's a problem I have with dimps games. They use a mix of manga and anime colors. I would prefer they'll just stick to one or the other.

When we first found out about the Avatars having Super Saiyan 2 in the game, I really only looked at the hair on the game model to see if it was different. Other than that, I was mostly talking about the art on the cards and website. Since they were supposed to have the same hair according to the game, it makes it difficult to tell which form is being depicted in the art unless they used sparks...which they never had unless the kids were shown firing an attack and that effect was drawn too. So, either they were always Super Saiyan, even on the Avatar Passports with them drawn in their Galaxy Mission clothes (that outfit only allows the SS2 transformation in-game), or sparks were deemed unimportant.
Things have gotten a bit more complicated though recently. Beat has been drawn with obvious Super Saiyan 2 hair in Victory Mission and promotional artwork on the site...but still no sparks. So who knows what's going on with the others.

In the image I posted like two weeks back:
There has been no mention of any Episode of Bardock sequel or anything and we already had the animation for JM2. You won't bee seeing SS2 Bardock animated till at least the next set, if he's even included in that opening. He is in this month's Victory Mission chapter, but the few images I saw of him didn't show his face. So...

So, the GM Saiyan Avatars can only transform into SS2 (which is SS with sparks), but recently, promotional artwork & VM shows Beat with actual SS2 hair, but without sparks, right?

From what I can tell, yeah. I'm not 100% certain on the sparks issue with Victory Mission though, because he's only used the form (at least with the SS2 hairstyle) in the special chapter dealing with the birth of GT Gotenks so far. The only place I saw all the pages was in a video, and the quality wasn't that great.

Yeah, he's much smaller now, A lot closer to his actual appearance in Neko Majin, instead of just anorexic Freeza like in Budokai 2.

Not really worth looking for; it's only SS Bardock with some crude, yellow sparks in the aura, but here:

Wow i was hoping it was just the card art, but i guess not

Their design choices baffle me. You can easily tell Beat is a SSJ2 in that image from the hair alone, dont even need a aura. Yet they just did a copy and paste for Bardock while changing the color of the lightning?

That's a VERY recent image. Ever since the Galaxy Mission iteration of the game came out, Beat can only achieve Super Saiyan 2 while in his new outfit. Just like Bardock, his hair looks just like his Super Saiyan form in the game itself, so for all intents and purposes, these should have represented Super Saiyan 2 as well:

Except, unlike with Bardock, we now have a new artwork that contradicts previous artwork and the in-game model. So I have no idea what they are doing and I'm starting to wonder if they even know half the time...

Sorry, but I'm beginning to think this is the beginning of the end.
I mean, if they continue with these lazy designs, could the angry fans could leave the game?
I can understand that the card has a bad design, but they should make the right hairstyle in the game.

You are making a big deal out of absolutely nothing. Super Saiyan 2 Bardock is not and will not be a deal breaker to who plays the game and who collects cards. It's more of a nuisance than anything else.

What would you guys think, if they did a what if, of Future Trunks and GT Trunks fusion, like with potara earings? Like what if he gets a wicked bad ass new design. Think about how cool it would be.

I think it would just look like Trunks. With earrings.
