I just played offline versus the bots because they actually played fair (Freeza's a cheater) whereas online they'd just keep spamming the same attacks and I could do little to nothing leading to deaths one after another.

are you talking about rb2? Of course i'm talking about p1 vs p2, that ultimate spamming should NOT be in the game, it's frustrating

There's the possibility of not using which sometimes I asked players before the matches and they agreed to, those times were rather nice battles.

still, not a game without flaws. Some things are better in rb2, others in battle of z (very quick response after knocking back to the ground, no special techniques spam etc)

The only Ultimates you should be getting hit by in RB2 are

Base Future Gohan
Pikkon
17
Any Barrier/Explosive Wave used in the back.

Other than that they are all see able and easy to vanish or dodge.

Every Super is easy.

Back on-topic It probably means just clear missions in that mode 100 times.

Do all of the 60 missions then any of them until 40 more are completed. Or just do any of them 100 times.

So this confirms it! European version truly has the Japanese voices left!

EDIT: NVM, I forgot that on PS3 you can change voices in every version.

Since it fills up your ki gauge and adds a new ki limit for every section filled up there can't be cross play unless they change it.
Wow I actually didn't notice that. Has this brought up any balance concerns at all? Like managing SP throughout the match? I imagine getting more refills of SP on console would be largely beneficial.

Also, excited to get that 100 mission trophy off the bat for fighting Nappa 150 times.. Should I be proud? :(

 What's the point in making the exact same game for PS Vita and PS3 with this change? It's madness... why did they do that?!

People in (the) UK can pre-order them from specific websites. Game.co.uk or something like that.

The Day One Edition is available on Zavvi, TheHut, ShopTo, Game and whichever website I forgot to mention.

By the way, played Tenkaichi Tag Team and the gameplay was far better, plus it allows to transform and devolve something which Battle of Z doesn't.

(Tenkaichi) Tag Team has 8 player (modes/functionality)? Online? Good fps? DIFFERENT character(s?) and types? Co-op multiplayer story?

Drev, you need to start proofing your posts before making them. The moderation team cannot keep cleaning them up. This is indeed something you agreed to (twice) prior to registration. Additionally, there's no need for sarcastic posts.

If we're to focus on the main concept of it, that is, having 4 or more players on the battlefield then Tenkaichi Tag Team takes the cake for being more functional and better gameplay.

I'm just a tad disappointed that I have to use my PSP to play this game but oh well, connect it to a PC screen and it's just like any other console game on a TV.

Assuming it doesn't just port over the cards, points and stats, and just shafts us on any game trophies earned in the demo  (wouldn't put it past them :? )

But it does allow to heal, revive and share ki with team members, which Tag Vs doesn't. I do have it and like it but I usually just stick to 1v1, which it does better than tag team, in all honesty.

You can totally plug it up to a TV and play it on a PC. But you'll either be using an adaptor to plug in the PSP to a TV or playing an ISO on a PC (where you can use another controller).

You know what one of the best parts about the game is? It actually has Player vs CPU/AI modes outside of a story mode

Something this game doesn't because for some reason, the silly developers thought "well derp, we'll just make it so that even though there are AI's in the game, you wont be able to customize AI opponents to your liking and fight them like you could in previous games!" While games like J stars manage to have you fight against AI opponents outside of the story, and have the option of online gameplay, along with other previous DBZ games.

It's stupid. What happens when the online mode dies out? You'll be restricted to that silly mission mode, and you won't be able to put in your custom team against the AI's team that you customed pick. What happens if you don't even have a good online connection in the first place? sorry, you only have mission mode with the preset evemy opponents you fight against.

you are completely and utterly right. In terms of combat? TTT beats it. You can charge your attacks, You can Dragon Dash Behind your opponent. You had larger movesets. In modes? TTT has more gameplay modes, and it allows you to pick and choose what opponents you want to face at any time, anywhere. Yet this "game" doesn't even give have a VS CPU mode like the other games. LOL

And of course, nothing silly like Vegito, an important character in the Buu Saga, as exclusive Pre order store DLC. / End Rant. That's all i'm going to say about this game in terms of critism in this thread.

If you have PPSSPP, the PSP emulator, you can play the game on your PC

For a limited time Zavvi is offering a discount and this is how much the prices decrease for the time being:

£39.97 to £35.97 (360/PS3)
£29.97 to £24.98 (Vita)

In Vita's case it's actually not a bad price but 360/PS3.. eh.

This reminds me of Titanfall which is an MP game so even though it'll be kept alive for years to come, still, for those that don't have a paid membership they're screwed because the game's meat is online-based. Kinda sucks this game sure had potential.
If you have PPSSPP, the PSP emulator, you can play the game on your PC
A PSP-PC emulator that works? I've got to check that out.

The dream is dead, European Vita copies have been confirmed to support only English audio:
An inaccurate info has been spotted on the Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z Playstation Vita packaging about the audio support of the game. The packaging mentions the support of Japanese and English voice-over but the game actually supports only English, as shown in the Playstation Vita Demo. We wish to apologize to fans and players for the inconvenience. After reaching more than 80,000 downloads for the Playstation Vita Demo, we hope that players will keep on enjoying the very first game based on Dragon Ball Z to be released on the platform.

"I like the money it brings in, but Dragon Ball Heroes is the worst. That's actually the real reason I decided to start working on new material. I was afraid Bandai would make something irredeemably stupid like Super Saiyan 4 Broly." - Akira Toriyama, made up interview, 2013.
